This unit creates a MOCA network that allows your DVR and Mini units to communicate with one another. The Mini is not a wifi unit and must have either an ethernet cable connection to the DVR or a MOCA network that uses the existing cable lines to connect to one another. There are multiple diagrams on the TiVo website to show you how to adapt the Bridge to your particular set up. One splitter and one filter on the incoming video signal and make the connections with the supplied cables and you are set up and ready to go in 15 minutes or so once you determine which configuration applies to your household set up. This is what you need if you don't have ethernet cables run from your router to the DVR and to the TiVo Mini. My modem is in my office on one side of the house and my DVR is on the opposite side. I did not to want to have to pay someone to climb around in my attic to run ethernet cable through the walls and across the attic. The TiVo Bridge makes that unnecessary by creating the MOCA network through your existing cable lines. Problem solved.

I was having trouble with my TIVo set up and found out I needed the bridge. Once received set up was easy.

Have only used this product on a limited basis but the setup was easy and I was immediately able to connect a TiVo Mini with my TiVo Roamio over coaxial cable without difficulty. Also note TiVo is reportedly coming out with a wireless adapter to use for this purpose.

We have replaced all our dish boxes with the use of this adapter. Quite a genius idea using existing cable as networking cable, love sharing from one box, well worth the savings of 1200 a year

TiVo approved adapter to connect your TIVo Bolt or TiVo Minis to a MoCA network. Allows for your wireless network to not absorb all the network traffic. All TiVo traffic flows through your coaxial network.

I am using the bridge to connect my Premier to my Moca network. All had had to do was plug it in. No setup it just worked.

Great solution to bring high speed internet to a very old but valuable Tivo DVR using coax from my cable gateway/router via Ethernet from the bridge.

Excellent just wish I did not need this as a wifi was better supported by Tivo.
