This is a very fun and strategic game. It’s a good game to play with your friends online and I never get tired of playing it. I’ve always wanted to own this game because of its popularity and how action-packed it is. This was a great purchase.

I have spent many days playing online multiplayer and I can't stop gushing about how much fun I have had. This game is unlike most other shooters, and most other Rainbow Six game that has previously been released. Heads up that there isn't any type of campaign for this game. Think of it similar to Titanfall. You have the ability to fly solo, but for the most part you will be engaged in online multiplayer. Two teams of five start out with one minute of prep. The defending team secures an item or area and the offending team drives drones throughout a centralized building trying to locate that item/area that is being secured. Once that minute is up, game on. Everyone has one life and the game has a time limit around five minutes. The defending team will do everything they can including watching windows, doorways or roofs, and maybe setting up traps along the way. The offending team is destructing everything in sight including kicking down windows, blowing through floors, and shooting through walls to either kill off the opposing team or secure the objective. Almost every game is a new experience with new people with new abilities and different play styles so nothing ever feels repetitive. It doesn't matter if you are on offense or defense, this game is intense from start to finish. Cons: No campaign and so far the servers have been really jerky Pros: Everything else. Seriously. I'm impressed and can't get enough of this gameplay. Buy it

The Rainbow Six franchise has always been known for having great tactical team based gameplay and this game is no different. However, this game is is primarily intended for multiplayer online gaming. The gameplay is a blast to play with friends online and others in the online community but there are not many game modes to choose from. There are competitive modes like the standard 5 V 5 death match and cooperative modes like 5 player Terrorist Hunt. Every mode is well crafted and you will spend plenty of time learning the ins and outs of each map. My only gripe is the lack of single player content. Although there are a few short training missions to familiarize you with the gameplay, there is absolutely no story mode, which is absolutely disappointing for fans of previous games in the franchise.

This game is a different take on shooters in that there is alot more realism involved. There is a small single player mode to get you accustomed to things but the game does a bad job of giving you a good over view of all of the gadgets and movement options. You basically just figure it out along the way. these single player missions are called situations. Each one has an objective and they are really fun on their own. I hope they add more via DLC. Once you hop online you have two modes: Terrorist hunt, where you and a group have to neutralize a defending enemy group. Multiplayer, 5 on 5 best of 3(or 5 - cant remember) where you alternate being the attackers or defenders. This game really requires a group of friends to get the most enjoyment but you you play a few missions by yourself online with your mic on you will likely meet a few people you can add to play with later.

Online only game. The only single player aspects are some "situations", which are training camps for different operators. Everything else is online, so make sure you're mic'd up for this game. Teamwork is a must. After leveling up to 20 in Casual Multiplayer, Ranked players take this quite a bit more seriously. Graphics are great; destruction across the map, bullet trails, etc. Sound is really good, actually. Play in a quiet room, you'll need to hear the enemy movement to get a drop on them. The only thing that is a CON for this game is their SERVERS! For an online only, when the servers are down, what can you do? That was a big problem a couple of months ago, now it appears that their servers are doing ok, for now. All in all, great game, addicting, and with more operators coming out throughout the year, you'll be in the honeymoon phase with this game for a good while.

Great game! I'm overall pleased with it. Some of the mechanics seem a little odd compared to other shooters. It's really meant for multiplayer only. You can go solo on it but there is no campaign. And this game is hard! The normal setting by yourself will definitely challenge you. I wish there was a little more options as far as how to pick the game style or what to do with only two people. A hoard style mix would have been a nice bonus, but that would be my only complaint.

When playing this game, it is very fun for me to play a game that is similar to a real life feel. You only have one life and you have to utilize teamwork and communication to win (multiplayer). The reason why I only gave it four stars instead of five is the lack of campaign and local multiplayer.

Is an incredibly fun and rewarding multiplayer fps. Unlike call of duty of battlefield, rainbow six siege has a pretty decently sized learning curve. It requires teamwork, experience, attention to sounds such as Windows breaking etc, and most of all, map knowledge. It took me months to learn all of the maps well enough such that I could roam, flank, etc. Ubisoft is updating siege, and has been for the past 2 years. They've added new maps such as the newest map; Theme park. Siege has a lot of replay value, and just when you think you have it down, it's gives you something new to learn. The servers kind of suck though, as it can sometimes kick you out of casual and ranked matches randomly. There is also a fairly large number of smurfs, especially at high silver/Low gold. This makes it increasingly difficult to climb out of these ranks as you see yourself playing against platinum and diamond players.

Overall this game is great. I do wish there was a way for you to regenerate health. It really makes you and your friends work together as a team. Other than ubisoft needing to ramp up their servers! The game play is good.

Bought this for my son because his friends were all playing it and he wanted to join in online. After the initial downloads and setup, he logged in and jumped right in. Great play, excellent story line, very realistic action.

This game is not easy because of the realistic way it plays. Unlike other most tactical games, you don't magically heal in time. You have to protect yourself and think about ways to complete the task at hand. The "bad guys" are pretty "good" on normal but crank it up to realistic setting and watch out, they are ready for you. For me, this game is a little above my pay grade, but for an "operator", it should be challenging. There doesn't seem to be much of a campaign mode, just some challenges. It looks like it focuses on online play. The online play seems to consist of team play and when you play against online players the skill level required to survive goes way up. Good luck.

It's probably the most realistic shooting game I've ever played... but I think that's what they were going for. It's sparse on content though. I didn't realize there was no campaign mode or I may not have bought it. I was really looking forward to some awesome campaign shooting with some sweet tactical scenarios... but oh well it's just an online game. I like it a lot but it's missing a campaign mode! I will be sure to check twice before I just go out and buy the upcoming Tom Clancy Division game. Hopefully that game won't be so sparse on content

I have always enjoyed the Rainbow Six games and this one is no exception. The game play on this first person shooter is exceptional. I feel like I am really part of the action. The online play is also great. My friends and I can work together to free hostages and complete challenges. My only drawback is the lack of a campaign. There are stand alone levels you must complete to open then next level but I would hardly call it a campaign. There is no story about who you are or what's going on. Overall I really enjoyed playing this game through and continue to play online.

This is, hands down, the best team-based FPS ever created. This is NOT for little kids, and NOT for "run and gun" COD fanatics. This is tactical, realistic, team-based, communication oriented, and serious. You can't "carry" your team like in COD. Your health will NOT regenerate. You have ONE life. You die, you're DONE for the round. 5 v 5. Attacks vs Defenders, winner takes all. Did I mention that all DLC is FREE? Ubisoft made a winner here.

It's a great team based shooter if you like realism. The lack of a single player other than training missions is a downer.

This installment of Rainbow 6 plays slightly different that the last two Vegas titles. The ability to take cover, blind fire, and peek is no longer in the game. But the ability to shoot through cover is now a factor. Sadly there isn't a real campaign mode, and multiplayer is online only, which is 3/4 of all the game content. Plays great, but I was expecting more, and the loss of the cover system mad it feel very different from Vegas 1 and 2
