The setup was straightforward and was finished in less than 5 minutes! The picture quality is superb, the sound is outstanding, changing viewing options is very, very easy and the remote is extremely user friendly. The 40” is perfect for my bedroom. A must buy. You won’t be disappointed!

Connecting to Cable Box knocks this beauty out

Beautiful TV, great picture, good sound. Unfortunately, once you plug cable box into any of the HDMI ports, the TV power (on the remote, or the cable remote) goes beserk. Tried it at mutiple cable boxes, multiple HDMI, all failed. Other TVs bought same day worked like a charm with same boxes. Maybe it's the Fire TV software? see below. Kudos to BEST BUY - I was simply able to swap it for the identical Hisense 40V45SU (which runs Roku rather than Fire) and that new one works like a charm. So moral of the story - buy your TVs from Best Buy so you can swap out if needed. Make sure your Smart TV's work perfectly when you connect to your cable box. Oh, and find the menu item on each whereby when you turn on the TV, it automatically goes to the last input (ie. your cable box) rather than the annoying home page for Roku, Fire, etc.
