A: Yes we can...but we don’t want to..........
A: Just bought this tv today and had the same question. It’s a pretty simple fix. Hit the home button—>settings—>displays & sounds—> power on—> choose “last input” So if all they ever watch on the tv is cable, it will always default to cable when the tv is turned on.

A: No the tv is a fire tv so the firestick is basically loaded inside the television
Q: What is the width needed for a TV stand?
A: Legs are 29” apart so add a couple inches . My table is 35” and I bought this tv because it is a larger set that fits the space

A: Yes you have to pay for all the services still
Q: Can you connect a cable box to a SMART tv just like the non smart tv's to get your channels?
A: Yes, that is exactly what I did. Cable box is connected to the HDMI port and you just tell the remote to switch to that source. Cable box remote was easy to setup to operate the TV.
