Touche Amore - Stage Four - VINYL LP

Vinyl LP pressing includes digital download. Touche Amore is a Los Angeles, CA based punk band whose earnest and artful approach to song writing, along with relentless touring, fueled their rise to prominence in the hardcore community. In 2013 Touche Amore crossed into new territory with their beloved , Is Survived By. The band had reached a high point in notoriety when frontman Jeremy Bolm received news that his mother had been diagnosed with Stage Four cancer. With the band's support, Bolm wanted to go on hiatus to care for his ailing mother. However, as his biggest supporter, she encouraged him to continue on living his dream. So he returned to the road with bandmates - guitarists Nick Steinhardt and Clayton Stevens, bassist Tyler Kirby, and drummer Elliot Babin. In October of 2014 while Touche Amore was headlining Fest in Gainesville, FL, the final stop on their tour, Bolm received a call that his mother passed. He went home the next day. Now from a band both living it's dream and marred by loss comes their new album Stage Four. Triumphant in sound and cathartic in delivery, Stage Four is a powerfully creative leap for Touche Amore. The first single is the catchy InchPalm Dreams,Inch and it's instantly clear from Bolm's vocals that Touche Amore is breaking new ground the career screamer is actually singing, in a quite capable sing-speak harmony. The final track, the rich, jangly InchSkyscraper,Inch featuring haunting guest vocals from Julien Baker, ends the album with an atmospheric departure, both sonically and in spirit. Album Tracks 1. Flowers and You 2. New Halloween 3. Rapture 4. Displacement 5. Benediction 6. Eight Seconds 7. Palm Dreams 8. Softer Spoken 9. Posing Holy 10. Water Damage 11. Skyscraper

Touche Amore - Lament - VINYL LP

Vinyl LP pressing. Touché Amoré has been burrowing through angst, alienation, cancer, and heartbreak throughout four adored studio albums. After over a decade of working through darkness, the band's gorgeously gruff fifth album, Lament, finds the light at the end of the tunnel. Through 11 songs, Touché Amoré looks back at it's past and uses hard-won optimism to point it's fans toward light, and love. For the follow up to the their critically acclaimed 2016 , Stage Four, Touché Amoré have opted to get out of their comfort zone and work with a new producer, the famously demanding Ross Robinson (Slipknot, Korn, At the Drive-In). Both Robinson and Touché Amoré are known for their trademark intensity. Lament's first helping is a sharp intro to the album's themes. Lament is their masterstroke. It's longer, structured songs soar with a ferocious but delicate musicality and powerful, gut-wrenching storytelling that smashes previous heights. Yet as much as the band has grown and matured via everything they've endured, it's perhaps equally impressive how they've managed to stay true to their core Album Tracks 1. Come Heroine 2. Lament 3. Feign 4. Reminders 5. Limelight 6. Exit Row 7. Savoring 8. A Broadcast 9. I'll Be Your Host 10. Deflector 11. A Forecast
