    Simple - It Works

I have a single Ethernet cable near my TV & XBOX. I wanted both to use a cable rather than wifi - for performance reasons. (I wanted to see 4K Netflix on TV) I bought this. When I read the directions there were several options that sounded complex. I finally decided to just plug everything in and see what happens. It worked perfectly. I now have that single cable supporting 3 devices. Performance is perfect, installation is simple.

  • Will my tp link router be able to see the devices behind this switch? I want to limit bandwidth to each pc on the router only for internet. Is that doable on this device? 3-5 mpbs internet :/. I do enjoy the product said earlier the TP link router.

Yes that's what I use it for my TP.

  • Is this an "Unmanaged" Switch device?

I'm just using it in default mode but I know it can be configured to do things like add or strip VLAN tags on the ports, etc, because I know someone else who is using one that way.
