I purchased this for a job site for three commercial-grade lenses as a mid-span booster. I came to find out that there was no mid-point to install it. I wound up installing it right on top of the commercial-grade switch with a 1-foot patch cord, and it did what the commercial switch could not, which was to give me a clean, solid image at a much greater distance than I could have hoped for. I highly recommend this switch.

I purchased a 48 port switch on Ebay thinking it had POE support for at least 4 ports. To say I was surprised to realize it didn't was an understatement. Especially when the two new security cameras I was trying to install really needed that feature. Thankfully this little guy had me covered after a quick trip to Best Buy.
