Crisp fish eye picture. Great night vision and I can dialogue with the person in the room. I feel like I’m living in the Jetson’s age.

I use this in my lake house in the crawl space to monitor for any water. This is a great low light camera. It’s dark and video is great quality. Highly recommend. I use it with my google home. It’s is full color when the light is on .

I highly recommend this camera. It’s worth every penny I spent. I can keep an eye on my home and that is the important part. The picture is clear day or night and I don’t pay anything for service.

What's in the box ---------------- 10 ft. USB cable Camera stand with magnetic base Mounting plate Mounting screws Power adapter Quick start guide TP-LINK Kasa Cam Indoor Full HD Wi-Fi Security Camera Pros ---- 1. Outstanding video quality 2. Motion Detection 3. Turn On/Off camera 4. Night Vision 5. 2.4 Ghz and 5Ghz support 6. Android/Ios support Cons ---- 1. No location based turning on/off like nest 2. No SD Card Support Review ------ The camera is very well built for the price. the setup is very easy and connects to both your 2.4ghz and 5 ghz wifi. the base is magnet, so if you do not want to use mounting screws, it can attach to any surface which is steel. Camera can be scheduled to turn on/off as well. Now, talking about video, its 1080p and very bright and good quality. Night vision is also very good. you can pinch and expand it. It also has a activity zone you can set to which can be monitored for motion detection. Recording is free for 2 days and upto 1GB. The camera is viewable at all time and can be set to recording on motion detection in the activity zone. It also has 2 way audio which may help if you want to talk to folks through the camera You can purchase storage - $40 gets you a year of 14 day storage and a 14gb limit. $70 a year comes with 30 days and 30gb. I think its a great buy for an indoor camera!

Love it. Shows good in day time and just as good in night. You can see recording for 2 days for free. Great product. I wish they made outdoor wireless cameras.

I love this indoor camera. Nestled very inconspicuous nobody can see where it’s at… Connects Wi-Fi easy and if there’s any movement detected you get the alert on your phone app. Highly recommend it to everyone.

This in-home camera was a breeze to set up, 3 steps total. The app outlined exactly what was needed in order to get it up and running. Very convenient. The lay out of the companion app was also very intuitive to navigate while jammed packed with functions too. The video quality of this camera is good, 1080 good. It give a slight (at least from what i could tell) fish-eye lens look from the app, but never the less a solid picture. The one feature that i specifically liked was the motion sensor function. Once it picks up motion, it records for 12-20 seconds... i wish i could toggle this to be longer, though. The one area outside of the video that i am not too impressed with is the sound. It seems very echo-y, nothing crisp or easy to understand, but very muffled and full of echoing. Overall, though, good camera that could be an even better product if the sound bugs were worked out.

Great camera! The mount seems very sturdy, its metal and has good weight feel to it. It comes with a very large usb cable and an ac adaptor. It also comes with a wall mounting system, however I did not use it. I just arranged the camera on top of a box and I'm using it to monitor my pets cage. The setup was easy, downloading an android app. You can use it to customize plenty of settings, like motion sensitivity, zones etc. You can also put it in "privacy mode" so doesn't alert you all the time. I only have it monitor when I'm not at home. There were a couple of firmware updates at the beginning but they were fast. I will highly recommend this cam to monitor pets, kids or whatever you want. Oh, by the way, it also has two way audio communication.

The camera was easy to set up. It provides a good picture, and night mode is decent. The drawback is like many cameras like this; TP-Link seems to want you to buy their cloud based storage, and there really is no way to check the video, except on your phone with the KASA app, or it will cast to an Android product, such as an nVidia Shield. The sensitivity leaves a bit to be desired, and no matter how it's adjusted, it sets off your phone notifications quite a lot. I wish there was a way to store video on my NAS, rather than opt for cloud ($$) storage. I'd also like to stream to my PC or Mac, if desired.

Compared to the Momentum Cams that I recently purchased and quickly returned, the Tp-link Kasa Cam is far superior. I use them at my boarding homes to keep an eye on the common areas and they are more than adequate. That said, one minor issue that I’ve had is that some of the videos record with no sound. Short of that, the images are supremely clear and the night vision does just as well. The seamless set up is what makes these worth it in my opinion. The cameras were up and running in about 5-10 minutes once I figured out my personal WiFi passcodes! Additionally, I wish the video clips would record just a tad longer, and maybe there is indeed a setting for that, but if not, certainly not a deal breaker. Really well constructed, highly functional, user friendly camera and priced right for its functionality.

This camera is exactly what I needed. I just adopted a dog. I knew I would be leaving him home alone soon when I went to work. I work 15 minutes from home and I’m letting him roam free in the house. I wanted to make sure my furniture wasn’t going to be destroyed. So I got this camera. I figure I would get an alert if there was activity at the sofas and chair in the living room and I can watch what he’s doing. I can tell him “No!” If I see him being bad. And I can run home real quick if he doesn’t stop. The picture is great. Better than I figured it would be. The body and mount of the camera is perfect... because it’s not ugly, bulky, and doesn’t feel cheap. The base has a strong magnet. I have mine mounted to the back of my TV (apparently the back of the TV is metal). The audio quality is also excellent. However, there is a clicking sound. That’s why I gave this a 4 star instead of 5. If I need another camera, I will definitely get the same one. When I do get the outdoor cameras I’ve been wanting, I’ll get the outdoor version of this camera.

Awesome camera. Really good video quality. Everything is clear even on night vision. Setup was a breeze. Very sturdy with no unwanted movement. Only downside is the hold to speak on the app is very laggy. Takes a couple seconds to react. The app itself is a little confusing but gets easier the more you use it. Like everything else, there's a subscription plan to get the best out of this product as far as the app goes. Other than that great camera.

I have this set up on top of my refrigerator which faces my front door and other windows. The picture is really good and the sound is very good to hear. So far the app is very easy to use and alerts with sound and movement. You can also set sensitive spots in the frame such as windows or doors. The sound alert was a little too sensitive when I first installed it but I think its because it is on the refrigerator which makes noise every now and again. Overall very satisfied

My wife and I have been very loyal to TP-Link and Kasa products since we started expanding our smart home. These products work great with Alexa, and the Kasa Cam is no different. It's easy to set up, the video quality is superb for the cost, and the ease-of-use via the Kasa app is perfect as always. However...we wanted to love this cam, but there is one glaring flaw I hope they fix. Within the camera itself is a mechanism that "clicks" when turned on. Well, the cam can pickup that sound a lot, especially if the volume is turned up high. We're actually on our second Kasa Cam because of this issue. The first one was horrible - the clicking was incredibly loud and obnoxious. We thought we were unlucky so we did an exchange for a new one. The new one does the same thing, however - but, like I said, it's a lot less noisy and we can put up with it as of this time. Overall, the Kasa Cam is okay. Though, if you aren't in a rush to get one yet then I'd recommend waiting for the Kasa Cam 2 or whatever the next version might be.

The salesman at Best Buy was trying to sell me a more expensive camera and told me “you get what you pay for” when I asked if this camera had similar functions. He was actually pretty rude, but hey- I’m not reviewing their customer service. I am so glad I didn’t listen to him and that I purchased this camera. It was inexpensive and has a great picture. It even has a night mode that is very clear. We used it to point at the door while we were away on vacation (for peace of mind) it hooks up to your WiFi so you can always check in (with clear audio) on the app. You can also talk through it (which we mainly used to mess with our cat as she came in and out of the cat door haha— luckily we didn’t have to talk to any other intruders. Highly recommend- don’t waste your money on anything more expensive- this is all you need.

This compared to the other really annoying and expensive indoor security cams has been a dream and MUCH better quality! The instructions are extremely in depth and everything is really easy to setup and get started. It was working more than I expected without even going through a bunch of settings. I previously purchased the Canary All In One system but it sucked really bad and they were like $6 more per/month for cloud storage of recordings which is extremely important because that's the point of a "security camera" because if anyone with 10 braincells just takes the camera it isn't going to have any data in the first place.. This camera is definitely suitable as an indoor SECURITY camera and does very well on good internet speed being near the router within about 30 feet.
