I set it up in my chicken coop to spy on my birds while I was away for the weekend. It was unbelievably easy to connect to my home network and mounts easily with a couple screws. The app is also easy to use. The camera rests in a super strong magnet on the mount, so you can aim it in different directions after installation. It survived the epic heat wave that passed through the mid-Atlantic last week, and when the free trial subscription runs out, it just cuts you back to storing 2 days of footage instead of 30, still free. I got it on sale for $80, but I'd say it's worth full price. I liked it so much I bought a second one to monitor my yard. This little camera is a great purchase and gives me peace of mind that my birds are safe when I am away.

I highly recommend this camera, it is has a sharp picture, works great both during the day and at night and is easy to setup and install. Only reason I rate it 4 instead of 5 is it’s very sensitive even at setting 2 it still records activity even if the wind blows.

This camera was so easy to install. It literally took less than 30 mins to unbox, power up and mount. The picture and sound quality are great and price point was good. The corresponding TP Link Kasa App is great. Super easy to install and program. I enjoy having the ability to view my home from the palm of my hand. I'm completely satisfied with my purchase.

Provides quick updates to Kasa App., but very sensitive. Camera sends message to app when large vehicles pass home and notifications when sounds go off in area such as trucks and motorcycles. I am trying to find sweet spot in adjusting sensitivity. Clear picture on app is great and easy to set up.

The camera was easy to set up. It provides a good picture, and night mode is decent. The drawback is like many cameras like this; TP-Link seems to want you to buy their cloud based storage, and there really is no way to check the video, except on your phone with the KASA app, or it will cast to an Android product, such as an nVidia Shield. The sensitivity leaves a bit to be desired, and no matter how it's adjusted, it sets off your phone notifications quite a lot. I wish there was a way to store video on my NAS, rather than opt for cloud ($$) storage. I'd also like to stream to my PC or Mac, if desired.

This is my second one. the camera is super easy to install, the app is friendly and have all i need and is FREE no monthly payments. it stores in the cloud for 48 hours, you can download any video the camera has zones. 720 and 1080. great video at night, alert on your phone great for the value

I like the fact that it records to the cloud for a couple of days for no extra charge. It's easy to install and the picture is good. The only downside is that I cannot mute the camera feed on my phone. When I open it as a single camera feed, the microphone picks up everything, for better or worse.

What's going on? ¿Qué pasa? TP-Link’s Smart Security Camera answers that question for me. The KC200 camera keeps an eye on my property and notifies me on my smartphone whenever it spots potential trouble. I evaluated a free demo unit supplied by TP-Link for testing, review, and feedback. A 16+ minute comprehensive unboxing, review, teardown disassembly, and setup tutorial is on YouTube. Google: KC200 "Ron Z". TP-Link’s Kasa Cam KC200 is a value leader with the best performance to price ratio.

Starting to malfunction after nearly four years of use. Kinda hoped it would have lasted longer considering i screwed the wire clips that came with the camera into the side of my house.

Great clear picture, decent night vision view, Very easy to install, It takes a few trial sessions to fine tune the motion settings, but not too bad.

Easy to set up and mount. The picture quality is great. I wish it had an SD card slot for download to, but the cloud backup works fine.

I kept looking at reviews for security camera's until I came across this one. Which seemed to have all the specs I wanted which was good frame rate and decent free online service with good recording times. The 2 things I like most are the quality of the incoming sound quality and the fact that the recordings actually capture video before someone or something enters the activity zones. It is really easy to set as well. If I had a complaint it would be the plug for it seem cheap but it sould be fine long term. It's just a personal opinion.

I bought this one after trying the indoor type camera, it work pretty well and it's easy to set up and connect with the WiFi, you can see from your phone app who is at your house or office from wherever you are it's a low-cost surveillance camera, the best thing it's that you don't have to pay for a subscription package to see the short clips saved on the app for the last 30 days.

I have a number of TP-LINK products and this camera was my first outdoor model. It was simple to install, setup was fast and the quality of the picture is very good. I used to have an inside camera looking outside through a window and it was good for daytime use but useless at night. Now I have great reception day & night. I will be purchasing two more for other areas outside.

Works great. Image quality is very sharp in daytime and at night. Notifications, sensitivity, active zones, schedule and more can all be customized in the app. No subscription required (at least for the first two years). Videos are kept on the Kasa cloud, but can also be downloaded by using the Kasa app. The Kasa app is well designed, organized, easy to use and shows all your Kasa products in one place. The live feed is available in real time, even while recording. Stays connected to my WiFi network without issues. Goggle Assistant integration allows me to use voice commands to cast the camera onto my Nest Hubs and Chromecasts/Google TVs, which is nice. IFTTT integration available for power users. Flexible mounting options. Magnetic camera mount for easy adjustments. Power cord may be too short for some, depending on where you mount it, though an official Kasa extension cable is available to purchase. No batteries needed (a plus for some, a con for others). I haven't tried any "security" related features, like two-way audo or sirens.

I have other Kasa products in my house. So I wanted to stick with the same when it came to outdoor camers. Easy 1-2-3 install. Helps if you have a plug with a USB port built in it. Also a plug out towards a window so you can run the line. Great 1080 pi with it two audio and a alarm that is really loud!

Easy set up and the app works great and is easy to use. Will save video for 2 days. You an down load video to your phone during that time. Good video quality. I don’t see the difference between 720 and 1080 and the license plates on cars is not readable from the distance I have it set up which is about 25 ft away. Also audio seems to cut in and out sometimes. I would rate this a 6 out of 10. Could be better but for the price it’s worth it.

I have purchased 5 of these cameras, replacing Arlo cameras. I only purchase the outdoor version for use indoor and outdoor.Much cheaper than Arlo but works as good, if not better, than those. Software App is much better than Arlo's and has free cloud storage for 48 hours, which is more than enough time to save any video clips to your own cloud and/or PC that you want to keep.
