Excellent addition to my Kasa security system. Works great with the Kasa app on my iPhone. Love how I can control each outlet independently. Also has a programmable schedule and a timer. Easy to set up.

Great timer that i use for Christmas light business and clients really have enjoyed the ease of use and being able to control their lights from their phone via wifi. Many use their timers year round as well because they are so versatile and nice to use

Perfect smart plug for outdoor lights. I’m currently using this plug to control my outdoor LED Edison lights I have strung along my fence. I live in a cold/rainy climate and this plug is heavy duty enough to withstand the elements. I did have to purchase a separate outlet housing cover that I can lock, because I’m worried about the Kasa plug getting stolen. The whole WiFi set up took less than 5 minutes, the app has all the features I was looking for and has performed flawlessly. This plug is priced well below it’s worth, as it provides two plugins per outlet used. This is my first type of smart home device purchase and it exceeds my expectations. After I made my purchase and learned different ways I can transform my home with these simple smart devices, I do wish that it was compatible with Apple HomeKit, but there is a third party app that assisted me in connecting my Kasa plug with Siri. So now I can use Siri on my iWatch, iPhone, & iPad to voice activate the on/off features, so crisis avoided. I hope to make future Kasa purchases, I would recommend to anyone.

Was looking at other smart home devices and stumbled across this. All I can say is get it if your looking to control some outdoor lighting or other feature and have an outdoor plug its worth it ! Hooked up to wifi via the phone app super easily and can schedule on/off times. Each outlet can be controlled separately.

Easy set-up and seems like quality construction. We’re a week into using this for outdoor Christmas lights. The timer was easy to set up and no problems whatsoever. I will say, it seems there are a ton of options for scheduling, etc. with the app so I probably need to take more time learning what this is capable of.

Reliable power supply. I would buy it again. App controlled.

Purchased two for outdoor Christmas decorations. Easy to setup. App is easy to figure out and use. Two outlets that can be programmed individually. Cons, which are more of a personal preference… Would have preferred a flat plug, it be less bulky of a device, power cord aligned so that the face or back of device sits flat/parallel to the wall when plugged in (see photos). The power cord is not easily straightened or twisted due to its heavy gauge (which is not a bad thing) but will probably loosen and become more flexible over time. Overall, this smart outdoor Wi-Fi plug works as intended and as expected.

Bought this to use with our Christmas lights. Paired easily with our WiFi and makes turning on the lights while away from the house convenient. Recommend for Xmas lights or other items you want to use from your phone app.

Purchased 3 as I was tired trying to program the older dial type timers to go off at the same time. Also had to deal with power outages that through the times off. These were easy to program and worked as expected that everything lights at the same time. Also was nice on Christmas eve to easily push a button to keep them lit until returning home from midnight church service.

I bought this to control my Christmas lights and it was perfect. It was a breeze to set up and within minutes I had programmed to Google home. So far it has worked flawlessly and the Kasa lineup from tplink has been brand I have used so far!

I have two of these now. I take measures to keep them at least out of direct sunlight and rain to help them last as long as possible. But, they are very well made, easy to connect (to Kasa App and Alexa for verbal commands). This most recent one I am using to control lighting I installed over a large covered awning work/parking area allowing me to turn one section on at a time or both. It is so nice to be able set "scenes" in kasa with such benefits of turning the lights on remotely as I pull up to park.

This outdoor WiFi plug works great it performs just as advertised, I really recommend it .

Just awesome! Easy setup and each plug can be controlled separately, which is super handy. We bought two of them for Christmas decorations and now we have them scheduled to start and stop at different times. We can easily shut down the large inflatable decorations when it’s windy and the projectors that shine into bedroom windows when it’s time for bed. The fact that it works with Alexa allows you to stay warm and dry when you want to turn them on/off outside of your planned schedule. The temperatures haven’t been below zero yet, so I’m not sure if cold will cause issues, but I’m impressed. The only thing that I felt could use some work was the rubber plug protector that it came with. As I’m writing this, I’m trying to remember where they are, because they aren’t attached to the plug. Not a deal breaker for me at all, but may be something to consider if you don’t have some shelter for the plug location.

Solid smart outdoor plug. Have a couple of these, and they’re outside in all weather conditions. One is used for scheduling Christmas lights, and the app makes it easy to set up. The other controls our deck lights, and set up on a nightly schedule as well. Great product!

Used for outdoor Christmas lights - works seamlessly through using the KASA app or Google Home. Was nice coming home to lights in the evening and shutting off per the schedule in the app at night. Was used on an outdoor porch with some pretty good downpours, and no issues.

I have used the KASA light bulbs for a few years and wanted to add the same control to my outdoor lights and this was a logical choice. It was easy to install and schedule on and off times for each individual outlet, especially when working with sunrise and sunset scheduling. Attached to my wifi network helps with scheduling also as it is controllable from my phone when I'm away from the house. I would be cautious with installing these in direct contact with rain as the rain covers are not very securely attached, but do direct rain away for the plug openings. Another bonus of this purchase was the customer service people at BestBuy, friendly, helpful and customer focused.

I own numerous TP-Link Kasa smart plugs, smart power strips, smart lighbulbs and cameras, so this integrated nicely with my current setup. I've almost never had a problem with any of my Kasa devices. The Kasa app is great. Everything can be controlled in one place, and it integrates seamlessly with the Google Assistant for voice commands and Google Home app. This is one of the few name-brand outdoor plugs available. I've been using it outdoors for for over a year, and I've never had a problem. I use it to control my outdoor floodlights and holiday decorations. Each receptacle (there are two) can be independently named and controlled. Schedules can be set, including on/off based on variable sunrise/sunset times.
