Only had it a couple weeks but it has worked perfectly so far. I thought it had something in the app for vehicles/pets, but it only has motion/person detection settings which you can turn the intensity from 1-10. The speaker for the 2 way audio is pretty bad, but the mic works fine. I also wish I could adjust the recording time, a car will go by in 10 seconds but it continues recording a little while, most all my detection events are a little over a minute long. I got it on sale for $20 & got a PNY 32gb trail cam memory card for $11 so for $31 total I'm happy with my first camera purchase. I'm going to purchase Tapo's 4k PZT solar camera next for approx $120 & hopefully that 1 is even better. Should be able to add it to the app no problem.

I recently used this Tapo 2K indoor/outdoor plug-in security camera and overall I’m impressed with what it offers for the price — especially for basic home security needs. The 2K resolution delivers crisp, detailed footage that makes it easy to see faces and activity around your property, and the view angle gives broad coverage. The built-in AI motion and sound detection helps cut down on useless alerts so you only get notifications when something noteworthy happens — like a person, motion, or even certain sounds. You can set custom activity zones so alerts are focused on the areas that matter most.

This is an excellent camera that has allowed me to keep my home safe while maintaining my privacy. I have really enjoyed using this camera.

The TP-Link Tapo C113 is a good little camera. Easy to setup and configure. Great product for when traveling… But also pleasantly surprised to find this model works well with UniFi Protect when adopting as a third party camera. Build quality could be better as it feels cheap - but for the low price point I wasn’t expecting much more. I would recommend to friends and family!

Good price, good resolution, easy to use, easy to install. All this and without a monthly fee… It’s an excellent camera at this price point.

Decent camera. It’s a little too sensitive with regards to motion. I had to turn sensitivity all the way down to keep the afternoon shadows from trees from setting it off. Also difficult to mount it on a wall. Can’t angle the camera up enough to make it work. But video quality is pretty good.

This is a great camera. However,you only get cloud storage to review footage for 30 days and at 25 days they tell u to pay $35 or no more cloud storage which means u can still use your camera but cannot review any footage only live after 30 days.

It was a little hard to connect to the wifi, but now that is up and working. It is a great little camera.

Setup on the app was simple. Mounting is easy and the camera can be mounted on a flat surface or mounted on a vertical surface. Connecting to wifi is quick and I had no issues with disconnects. Notifications were quick and playback was clear and fast. For the price, this is one of the best security cameras out there.

I’ve been usin this camera for a while now, it gives me a perfect control over my front door , and my bedroom. Ihe notify me of every moves and who ever get on those spots hear me talking to them. This is amazing. Great quality and help a lot whem i am not at home. So highly recommend it.

Low price, nice quality. I don't love the mounting options. I think the Wyze magnetic disk is a little better, but overall, I prefer this Tapo over Wyze.

It lags from time to time however it does work great I could keep an eye on my mom and I can talk to her through it so overall I would recommend this

It was very affordable and does not require a service plan. That's automatically makes it worth 3 stars. The video quality isn't very good and it has probably connecting a fair amount of time. But it has helped us receive our deposit back from hotels after room service takes the place while we're out. So. It's worth having. I just wish it was better

I love this camera, it helps me feel more safe and love that i don't need a subscription to have it on, but is needed when wanting to download playback. Overall, the quality is perfect especially at night. Best buy has a huge variety of cameras to choose from which i love! The team is always patient with me, 5/5 customer satisfaction!!

Somehow I got network problem: cannot connect to the camera quite often. Since I travel a lot, it's a quite annoying not to be home to fix it. To fix issue, I plug the camera into Tapo smart plug and turn off, then turn on the plug to restart the camera and it worked. Does it mean the camera has issues itself, not because of the Internet network?

Quick and easy setup, great quality video, very nice user friendly app, and easy to mount – all for an excellent price! I only wish they had an all black option. Now I'm considering purchasing a few more for around the house.
