This solar panel completely met my expectations. It solved the need to constantly worry about charging my security camera, especially when I’m away from home. It’s extremely useful, keeps the camera fully charged at all times, and performs its function flawlessly. The design is sleek and visually appealing, blending well with the surroundings. Installation was simple and straightforward, with clear instructions. Overall, a great investment for anyone looking to keep their security system running without interruptions!

Overall the solar panel does its job - It charges the camera. I installed 2 of the Tapo solar panels for a few months. They work really well in warmer weather, but be aware that they generally do not work when the temperature falls below 35-ish F. The box says working temperature is down to -4F, but the fine print (look for the tiny dagger symbol †) says battery charging is only down to 32F (0 C). There could be long periods of time when the panel won't charge the battery if you are in a cold weather area.

Southern orientation keeps camera battery charged at 90-100%. Easy installation with several options. Worth it if you are using camera where you have sun exposure (south preferred)

The solar panel is east to install and hook up the camera. Extends the battery life. Very satisfied

Reluctant to purchase this because of some of the negative reviews about it not working, etc. Took the chance and bought it. I have three TC-85's and one of them uses more current than the other two because of the settings I wanted. My other two cameras have been working (three months now) without needing charging. The one only operates about a month, because of the activity and settings, Since installing the solar charger, the camera has always been charged. It occasionally dips down to 97% when we have some cloudy days but quickly gets back to 100%. This charger is great! I am going to purchase another one soon!!!

On the first day of installing this solar panel, it took my TC85 from 80 percent to fully charged. Impressive. I am very pleased with this product. My only critical note is that they should consider keeping the battery of the camera under a full charge to prolong the internal battery. I see this product working well and that i will never have to charge the cameras again. Maybe in winter, but it does exactly what i needed it to do: avoid having to recharge the wireless cams.

The Solar Panel is easy to install and keeps the camera Tc85 battery fully charged.

Is not charging Tapo-link cameras! This solar panel can’t charge same brand cameras. I am returning four Tapo-link wireless security cameras TC85 and solar panel. This product is a joke.
