I recently installed the TP‑Link Tapo Smart Wi‑Fi Light Dimmer Switchs and overall I’m very impressed with the performance, reliability, and smart-home compatibility. Installation: Installation was straightforward for anyone familiar with replacing a standard wall switch. The wiring labels and instructions were clear, and the switches fit well into standard electrical boxes. Just make sure your home has a neutral wire, since it’s required for installation.

This is the 2nd or 3rd time I have bought these dimmers. They are easy to install, work great, and connect to Home Assistant automatically. Smaller buttons let you control dimming, and you can calibrate the levels for different bulb types with the app. The switch is a little bulky so you will need deep box to install it in, and they only come in white but of course the rest of my house is beige, lol, but otherwise great.

Great product. It’s very easy to set up and use. I love and hate that it connects directly to the router. Love it because it’s such an easy set up, hate it because since I have so many it can crowd the modem.

Exelent product works amazing with Google home easy to install. As an electrician 100% recommended.

The switches were easy to setup and are of good quality. Only problem is the App thinks its TS505D as well. Technically they are same but just sold in different model. Names. But the app takes some as ts25 and some as ts505D.

The switches are easy to install, and integrated with Apple HomeKit seamlessly.

Worked exactly as intended for kitchen recessed lights. Holds Wi-Fi connection.Have not had to go back and reconfigure anything.Initial setup was really easy,Installation was a ok,but I needed to run a neutral wire to my switch box over all it works fine..

Easy installation. they work seemlessly with wifi. I love how they fade-out to off and fade-in when you turn them on.

I bought a few of these to upgrade my whole house. You need to make sure you can use a dimmer light for this switch. It was a learning curve but we made it work.

Great deal for all single pole switch to be controlled thru Alexa is cool.

As a dimmer switch it works fine but I have yet to get this switch to work with Siri. Maybe it's me but I've tried everything. Pretty disappointed with it.

I installed these TP-Link Tapo Smart Wi-Fi Light Dimmers and they’ve worked flawlessly so far. Setup was simple using the Tapo app, and they connected quickly with both Alexa and Google Home. The Matter compatibility is a big plus since it lets everything work together without worrying about brands. The dimming is smooth with no flicker, and I can set scenes or schedules right from my phone. The switches feel sturdy and look sleek — definitely an upgrade from the old ones. Just note: they’re single-pole only, so not for 3-way setups. Otherwise, perfect!

Switch is relatively easy to install, it looks and feels good to use. You do need a neutral to set it up. Once setup it can be configured via bluetooth in the Tapo app pretty seamlessly. Happy with the purchase and got it at a relatively good price when initially it came on BestBuy portal for sale.

The smart switch is great. The installation was fairly easy, tight fit with all the the wires in a 2 gang box but after some rearranging and consolidation I was able to fit this in as well as a non-dimmable switch on the other gang. I removed the face plates and used a 2 gang face place. The setup was so easy. Not one issue came up either the setup which is refreshing. The app is easy to use. The dimming is nice and smooth. The switch itself could be made of thicker plastic (told the kids to press it lightly) and there could be metal reinforcement at the mounting holes so you don’t crack it if over tightening (the mount holes for the face plate are reinforced with metal). Overall, I’m very satisfied so far. Will setup with HomeKit at some point and can’t wait to try out Away mode. TP Link needs to make a 3-way switch version. Nearly all switches in my home are 3-way.

These dimmers work great. Have been using them for months without issues. Setup for wifi connection takes a bit of time but once it's done they have been working flawlessly.

I purchased some new LED lighting and the smart wemo switch would up and forget like it was lost in a cornfield, or flicker when it was low or high. With these switches, the set up for google home was a snap, and no more searching for the sweet spot.

I just finished installing these yesterday. The directions are simple and easy to follow. The switches work well via Wi-Fi and manually, which is especially important when Wi-Fi cuts out. One thing I learned is that with almost all Tapo switches and plugs, if you want Apple HomeKit to control them, once you get it installed, add it to HomeKit first using the QR code. Once it is working on HomeKit, add it to the Tapo app. This method was successful; the other way, not so much. I have also noticed about a half-second delay turning the lights on and off via HomeKit vs no delay through the Tapo app. These are very good switches and very affordable updates to what you have now.
