I didn’t want to get my middle schooler a smart phone yet, but flip phone options are scarce. This one is okay, she can text me when and call, but sometimes the call is staticy and hard to hear. I suggest getting your tweens a flip phone while you can and avoid smart phones till they’re mature enough to handle the world in the palm of their hand. I’d get an unlocked phone if I could find one, I happy I could at least find this one at Best Buy. The tracfone plan ranges $15-20 a month, not so bad.

I was waiting for my new phone in the mail and needed a prepaid phone in the mean time for work and went to Best Buy and bought this prepaid phone. Service (reception) was good and I actually needed directions and it had maps on it too. Also the battery lasted for days… which IPhones actually lasted this long lol. Which was surprising… but would definitely use again if needed.

Just what I needed for a backup phone! Works really well with wifi, texts messaging and camera. Excellent price!

Im still just figuring out how to set up to download games but its activated and i bedazzled it

My review is only for the fact that its probably consumer issue. But whe i ordered the phone i was under the impression itd be like any otherphone. Naively beliving it would aceept any sim card, unfortunely this type of phone doesnt let that happen. I tried using my own simcard after my phone had broken and needed a quick replacemrnt and, im unsureif prepaid phones are common knowledge for proving their own phone service or not, but i sure didnt know and realized to late, i did end up returing it but now i know. As for the phone im sureit works well, when i tried activating it, the phone felt sleek and really easy to use, it has a guide on how to assemble and use the buttons so thats great, from what iveheardis the processof setting up the phone is tedious, but other than that i believe the phone is just as fuctonin as any other.

The BLU Flex is OK for a backup phone. The software offered a selection of apps that can be downloaded for free such as a QRcode reader, decibel meter, and some other handy tool apps. The phone operation, keyboard is standard for a flip phone. A negative for me is that it wants you to use an email account to text. My old phone would just receive/send text message without having to make a new account. If you want a cheap backup phone to carry around when doing outside activities, so that you don't have to worry about losing your better phone, this phone will serve that purpose.

TracFone BLU phone gets a bit frustrating when using the text function since it has to constantly be changed to upper and lower case letters or even with the numbers.

After 3 weeks, this BLU flip phone works well for me. I followed the enclosed instructions for registration. To finalize the phone's activation, I bought 30 days (minimum minutes) online, from TracPhone. I'm still learning the buttons ;) The only problem is the clock - it's ahead plus five hours, e.g.: 2pm my time = 7pm display time. Auto location is enabled. Thanks !

An inexpensive flip phone that works good. They are getting harder to find.

Purchased this no contract prepaid ohone for my elderly mom. Who is old school with a land line phone. She adapted well to the phone with it's basic functions to make and receive alls to stay in communication with her family in case of an emergency. Easy to handle. Charging is a breeze and adding more time is easy as well. The un limited talk and text is the best. Now my my mom has become use to modern day cell phones with a functioning no contract phone and onky needs to pay 15 to 20 dollars a.month with a tracfone card and she is set. She doesn't fully need all the extra features the phone come with. Im glad i was able to transition her from landline to cell phone. Now she can take it with her everywhere.

Serves the purpose I purchased it for. I will say however that the keys are a little sticky.

I wanted to get a flip phone just for it's nostalgia and found this one...I wanted one that could play YouTube music videos over Wi-Fi as well as Christian videos and thought it would be nice to play on a small, old style screen. It plays the videos smoothly and since this was a low cost device, I could play music on it all day, everyday. The battery last long while playing music as well as standby time. A great, solid flip phone!

I bought this for my husband to replace his old flip phone, and he loves it. He has no complaints about it. He likes the larger buttons and the volume. For those who want simple and reliable, this phone is it.

Communication is clear and the phone appears sturdy. When charging sometimes the communication link won't restart properly and has to be rebooted to connect.

Use this phone for voice line verification and contacts and it is useful compact and has some fun features that remind me of my Nokia back in the day. Wish it had snake.

My husband uses this phone everyday for all his communications. He uses everyday during his evening walks, in the clinic and at home.
