I had to replace my old Nokia prepaid phone because T-Mobile is discontinuing 3G service. I ordered the new Nokia at 2am Friday morning and it was delivered at 1PM Friday afternoon. Excellent service considering it was free shipping! Set up was a bit challenging but with the help of TracFone support the phone was working by Friday night. I like the small size and clear display on the outside and inside. The camera is nice also. I only use it for an occasional text and phone call, so the low cost of the prepaid plan works for me. At $20 this phone is a great value if you need an inexpensive flip phone!

Great phone for the price!

This is good cheap phone to use for kids, grandparents, or even a spare work phone. Compatible withe 4G will make it work for years to come. Even if you don’t use the Tracfone carrier, you can just spend $20 on a cheap plan and unlock this phone in 2 months. There are common apps used on smartphones, KaiOS is not bad, but not good either. Overall this is a great phone for most people, heck I could give up my iPhone for this phone if I had to!

Tracfone 2760 Flip phone

Bought as a temporary phone to make a few calls and for texting. It was adequate for those things, and sufficient for reading email, but not much use for web browsing or for navigation with Google maps. So: it's a good phone for the price, but not a good replacement for the smartphone I was used to. I would recommend it if you just need a cheap phone for calling and SMS.

Happy with my two Nokia 2760s

I lost my flip phone and wanted to replace it as cheaply as possible--this phone was $20 and I could get the service I wanted for another $20 a month, so that was a small investment in case the first one turned up! My local Best Buy had several in stock whereas the Union Square Best Buy had discontinued it. So I wasn't expecting much--and was pleasantly surprised. The phone works fine, has nice selection of ringtones. The special characters keypad is much better designed than on my previous phone. I can see and respond to email, although anything it links to has such small type I can't read it. I haven't used all the features, but I'm happy with the camera and alarm/timer/stopwatch. In fact, since the original phone never turned up, this is now my permanent phone and I bought a second one as a backup. When I don't need the backup, I'm using it as an alarm clock and timer. Another surprise is that I've had fewer problems with TracFone than I was warned about. I sailed through activation and have found Customer Service responsive--eventually.

Inexpensive, simple, and reliable. Was very easy to activate and purchase a plan online. Able to get up and running without any issues. Does everything I expected it to do so far. Texting is a little clunky compared to a normal smartphone as expected. Will update later if any problems come up but so far so good...

Great products comfortable decsions

Best buy is truly the last real deal brick and mortar retail store. The large array of products on store and online made making this purchase easy. Because I'm backed by total tech, i know electronics go bad all the time, but because of thier service and standard I'm comfortable with every purchase i make. Now for this prouct. Nice simple and affordable. For $20 bucks its a great emergency phone. You never know when you might need one.

You get what you pay for.

This phone isn't great, but I put up with it solely for the price of the service. It took several hours on the phone, and in an online chat over the course of 2 days to finally set it up, and port my number. Other issues: Anytime I open it, the clock has a slight delay to show the correct time, or the main screen looks like a fuzzy TV screen for a second or so. Also, there is a really annoying jingle that plays when you turn the phone on, that can't be disabled. It even does it when the sound is off. Snake is usuless game app. I'd rather have an FM radio, or at least a better game like the other Tracfones have. Texting is beyond annoying, and video messages can barely be sent, due to size issues. Contacts should be a main button, instead of camera.

good flip phone but with some design flaws

It's a good flip phone but has too many buttons that don't work well for a senior. It has a favorite button that can only be set to useless things like text and web - NOT contacts or call log. This is a flip phone - who would try to use it for texting/internet? That pesky favorite button Is right above the call button so easy for seniors to accidently hit it and not make their phone call. It has an SOS button on the side which is a good concept, but is also where one might hold phone. You can disable it, but my dad keeps hitting it and wondering why volume not changing as it's just below volume button. the volume buttons are very easy to accidently press. This is a design flaw of most all phones though.

OK when set up but requires an internet connection

I bought this phone as a gift - a necessary one - for my mother who is not into smartphones. The challenge initially was that it REQUIRES online links to set it up, but it does not contain all of the necessary symbols that I now use for exceptionally higher security on my main internet access point. The solution it seemed is that I didn't need to change my main password, but was able to use my IoT network - changing the password THERE to work to link this phone for setup. Once it's set up the internet is not necessary to keep it working. This is where companies should REALLY think about the CUSTOMER they are selling this device to... because many who buy FLIP PHONES are more likely to NOT have internet. To require internet service to make the phone work - for a FLIP PHONE - seems like an idea that will likely frustrate a few people who VERY SPECIFICALLY want a FLIP PHONE because it's low tech. The need for more design thinking and USER EXPERIENCE specialists is required for companies who should make the assumption that some people looking for LOW TECH want it for a reason.

Ideal flip phone

I purchased this phone for my son, so that he could have a cell phone while he was grounded. I can't believe how good this phone is compared to the first flip phone I ever purchased. And my first phone cost about $400; this is only $20! These are great phones to have around if you need to ground your kids and take their screens away from them but still want to be able to contact them in an emergency. You can purchase unlimited text and phone calls for $15 from TracFone each month. No automatic renewal. I cannot believe how cheap this phone is, given everything it can do.

Senior Citizen help with phone tech

There are a lot of high tech phones on the market, but for senior citizens, many stores don't carry what we need. The flip phone at Best Buy was readily available with a low price. Thanks for caring about us non tech savvy people. The sales people, one of the managers, Sam, a lovely woman, and Nathan were great and patient and helpled us get set up and get the minutes we needed. We decided to buy 2 sets.
