Trash Compactor Install

We'll deliver, install and make sure your new trash compactor is working. We'll connect it to existing local utilities. Additional charges may apply if not up to local codes or requirements.

• Before we begin: To prepare for installation, Clear the space where the trash compactor will be installed. Empty your existing trash compactor. Clear a path from the street to the kitchen wide enough to accommodate the trash compactor. And make sure someone 18 or older is present at the appointment time.
• Disconnection: We’ll disconnect the existing trash compactor.
• Connection: We’ll use the manufacturer-supplied hardware to install the trash compactor. Then, we’ll connect it to an existing 110V power.
• Final steps: We’ll clean up and recycle all packaging and make sure your new trash compactor is functioning properly. Finally, we’ll answer any questions you may have and let you know how to contact us for future support.
• Purchase haul-away services for an additional fee: When you purchase a qualifying trash compactor from Best Buy, we’ll haul away and recycle or relocate your old one for you (not included).
• Potential Additional charges: Additional charges may apply for permits required by your municipality, installation of power outlet if your current trash compactor is hardwired, bringing utilities up to code, replacement of incompatible or nonfunctioning connections, or extensive labor for removal of existing trash compactor.
