Good for gaming and watching videos mic works good comfortable fit with good audio

I ordered for my boys and nephews to use with their switches. These are their first head sets. Price was right...paid $30 each, they have soft padding and do not feel heavy.

These work perfect got them for my son! He loves them! I definitely will buy again! 7-11-2021 and they are still in perfect condition!

The Turtle Beach Recon 70 is a stylish set of gaming headphones. They’re made completely out of plastic, and the build quality is fairly solid (for plastic). My set is primarily black with red accents along the upper pad, extendable frame, and cable. It coordinates very well with my black and red gaming laptop. The cable is firmly attached to the headphones and can’t be removed as these headphones don’t have any wireless capabilities, and it can’t be replaced should it get damaged. The cable is also fairly short, so don’t expect to use these while gaming on the TV (unless you’re sitting two feet away from your television). This is unfortunate as a removable aux cable that could be swapped out for a longer cable when working with the Switch in docked mode would have been appreciated. That being said, there are cable extenders on the market that can fill this gap as well. The headphones are fairly comfortable to wear, but it did take several days for me to break them in. When I first got them, they pinched my head uncomfortably; and I was all set to toss in the towel and declare that I hated them. They seemed to loosen up with repeated use though, and they now fit my head quite comfortably for extended gaming sessions. The headphones plug in via a standard aux cable connection. This means that they can function as headphones for any device with a standard headphone port (i.e. laptops, desktops, [some] phones, handheld consoles . . . etc.). In order to use the integrated microphone, you have to have either a microphone / headphone combo port (standard on the Nintendo Switch but inconsistently available on other devices – alas, my gaming laptop doesn’t have a combo port; but my desktop does for some reason) or a special splitter cable to connect to both the microphone and headphone port to a single input. Sound quality is good. It’s not the best I’ve ever head, and hardcore audiophiles will probably want something better, but it’s perfectly adequate for gaming or casual media consumption. The headphones do a good job of blocking out ambient noise by simple dint of completely covering your ears with large amounts of padding. With the headphones on, but no sound playing, I was able to make out only a dull murmur from the people sitting next to me at the coffee shop. One feature that I really liked about these headphones is the physical volume dial on the left ear cup. The dial feels good for making fine adjustments to the volume. It’s much preferable to touchscreen volume controls or a volume rocker. In summary, The Recon 70 headphones are solid headphones with a good “gamer aesthetic” and some bonus perks in the form of an integrated microphone and physical volume dial. I would recommend these to a friend.

My honest opinion about these gaming headset is poor quality. My son were very disappointed about these headphones. The bad thing about it is red is his favorite color and the last time he brought some gaming headset he wanted some red ones but he had to get green because they didn't have red, but now that he finally brought some red ones they didn't last long at all. He saved his money up so that he can buy them and he took them out the box and within two or three days the silver plug in piece that you plug it into the controller broke/bent.

We bought these for my son and saved them for his birthday. He treated them with such care. We noticed they had a crack in them 2 weeks after he started using them. I am really hoping customer service will replace it for my sad and disappointed son. Thank you

These Headphones are a great buy, they sound great. They are light weight and fit very comfortable. They work on PC, PS4/5, X-BOX and the Nintendo Switch. You cannot go wrong with this purchase.

Great headset for our kids to use on the switch. The volume dial is easy to turn down by accident though, so my 7 year old keeps thinking it broke. It fits comfortably and the sound quality is good.

Comfortable and cancels out outside noice pretty well. Not a fan of the volume dial on the side and the microphone seems to be very sensitive

Bought these for my son when he plays Fortnite. He loves them. Says they fit him well, and he can hear everyone ingame and everyone can hear him. Great price as well.

Great for Gaming, easy to mute as you just turn p the speaker arm when need to talk to someone. Fits great.

I gave these headphones to my stepson for Christmas to use with both his Xbox and PS4. I tried them out as well and they are exactly as my title states: just ok. Nothing really stands out for them as amazing or bad. They are comfortable to wear. The sound quality is acceptable. My only complaint is how quickly the aux port broke.

My kids are always going through headsets like there nothing, this is headset #3. I decided to buy this headset since it was fairly cheaper than the other ones I saw and I didn’t want to spend a whole bunch of money on another pair. It works good for their Xbox one even though it says for Nintendo switch. My husband and I were a little skeptical at first. But yes it “does” work for other gaming consoles and we had no issues so all around it’s great.

I bought these for My 8 year old grandson and they fit great and he claims they are clear and the mic is great!

Good sound and okay bass. Not very loud but loud enough. Fits good around the ears, no pain.

My son loves these headphones as they are interchangeable to his Nintendo Switch, his XBOX Series X, and his Playstation 4. The sound is amazing. The flexibility is top notch. And - his older brother "borrows" them every now and then when his wireless headphones need to be charged (because these are just plug-n-play). Turtle Beach makes great products that both of my sons enjoy!

Sound are great fit comfortable lite on my neck love good

I bought these for my little brothers switch and it lasted him a while after using them every day. He also connected them with his oculus and he is a rager so he has tossed these headset around a good amount. Sadly we did have do dispose of them after a year and a half but good mic for chat and the noice cancelation was mid. These headsets are good for mild gaming but not rank rainbow six.
