The Pulse Elite Sony's first party headsets with great sound through the planar magnetic drivers, but horrible and I mean horrible build quality after my third pair I gave up on them and I was really impressed by the Turtle Beach 700 stealth Generation 3 as they have a better build quality. They are more comfortable and are very friendly with any size head without offering crazy clamping and one of the biggest plus it doesn't apply to me but it's there is the fact that this headset is glasses friendly and the Swarm II App offers you more customizations to tune your audio and microphone to your taste compared to what Sony offers you with the Pulse Elite which have the headband issue that plagues them and makes you think when are they going to fail now back to the Turtle Beach everyone who I play with online has told me that I sound magnificent on the microphone and the fact that it has AI noise reduction, which is kind of a gimmick. It does work, but don't expect it to be like actual noise cancellation that a high-end headset would have but it's there and the biggest Plus for me is that insane 80 hour battery life, which doesn't make you think that you have to charge them all the time. You just don't even bother thinking about it. And another big thing going for these is if you like multi-point and you want to connect to various devices without compromises Then this is a good headset. It comes with two dongles that could connect to anything simultaneously you just got to buy wisely and by the headset by keeping in mind what's going to be your primary platform of playing video games because the Xbox version connects directly to the Xbox with one dongle and the second one would be opened or anything. I normally game on PlayStation. So I picked up the PlayStation variant and both dongles are opened so I can use them anywhere and I do have one hooked up to my Nintendo switch and the other one to my PlayStation 5 Pro. Do I recommend these over the Sony's? Yes, I do. They have better build quality and you want regret your purchase with the 60 mm dual drivers

I bought this headset for a gift for my husband and it is the best headset he has ever owned, it cancels noise out perfectly and is very comfortable on the ears and head!

I use this headset with my ps5 and PC. A few years ago I had a stealth 600 gen 1 that broke but I loved how comfortable it was. These gen 3s are a major improvement and I even prefer it over the steelseries nova pro wireless when it comes to comfort and use. My only trouble is that I still have to take them off my head to see which buttons I’m pressing. They do feel heavier than other wireless headsets I’ve used recently but it doesn’t bother me as much as it would others. I’m told the mic also sounded better when compared to the nova pros. I do recommend waiting until these are on sale to purchase.

These headphones are great , I had the 600s before these and I loved them but they stopped working on me. These feel and preform way better though. Definitely suggest them.

I’ve had my fair share of trying other headphones, but in all sincerity after two weeks of use I can say that these are the BEST!!! The sound just absolutely makes you feel immersed into whatever game you’re playing. Being a bass-head myself I could customize my sound to amplify the bass and treble, which gives that BOOMING sound I love so much. The fact I can also bluetooth connect these headphones to my phone so I can listen to music as well just makes this product even more rad. 10/10 would honestly recommend!

Quick Overview ================================= If you're looking for a gaming headset, it can be tough to decide for multiple reasons: Too many options and platform-specific needs. Well, Turtle Beach's new Stealth 700 Gen 3 wireless gaming headphones can help you with some of your decision-making because they come with two transmitters for lag-free gaming on PC and PlayStation, in this case. Turtle Beach has a long history in gaming, and I'm expecting great things - let's see how it goes! Overall build ================================= I'm lucky enough to also have their Stealth 600 Gen 3 headphones which I enjoy, so I have some direct comparisons I can make. Right off the bat, the Stealth 700 Gen 3s are heavier and feel more sturdy. The earcups are thicker and wider and have a fabric/faux leather lining vs. the cloth-only on the 600s. The silver arms that connect the earcups to the headband seem to be a mix of plastic and metal which Turtle Beach calls "steel-reinforced" and they do seem very sturdy and strong. It seems like there were some breakage issues on the Stealth 700 Gen 2s, and Turtle Beach stepped up to address them. Being sturdier and including more metal means they are heavier than the 600s, but not overly so. The thickly padded headband supports the weight on the top of your head. You'll notice another difference right away: The 600 only has controls on the left earcup while the 700 has controls on both. On the left side there's a flip up mic on the front. On the rear top, there's a customizable mode button, a volume dial, a customizable volume dial (for mic monitoring, bass boost, etc.), the charging port, and power button. On the right earcup, there's a CrossPlay button to swap between the wireless dongles (for ex. one plugged into your PC, one into the PS5), a BT volume knob, a BT pairing/function button, and a BT status LED. Adjusting the headset takes a firm grip, which I prefer, since it's usually a one-time adjustment. The deep earcups are comfortable for med/large ears and they didn't apply undue pressure even with some glasses on during some sessions. The first thing I had to do was upgrade the firmware by doing the following: Using BT, pair the Stealth 700 Gen 3 with my phone. Plug each dongle into a USB device - I did this on the same PC to make it easy. Install or use the Swarm II app and it should prompt you to update the firmware. Wait a few minutes Unplug each dongle and plug them back in. Power off the headset and power it on again. With that out of the way, let's test! Performance ================================= Since these are gaming headphones, we'll definitely spend time doing exactly that, but first, let's check out some music. I test with some songs I know very well and that I've listed to on multiple devices through speakers, IEMs, or over the ear headphones. With a mix of EDM, Jpop, Kpop, and some "haunting vocals" from different movie soundtracks, the sound on these 60mm Ecplise dual drivers was impressive! Normally, I have a small amp and dedicated headphones connected to my PC for music listening, but these were good enough to serve as gaming or music headphones! Highs were clear and not muddled at all by the thick, layered bass and mid-bass. Using their Swarm II app on the phone or PC, you can choose from different presets or set up custom EQ profiles. On the phone, it recommends using a landscape view so you can see the sliders for all the bands easily. There are tons of other options in the app for customizing the controls, sound, and even the mic's sound profile. Not to mention things like a noise gate to eliminate unwanted sounds from being recorded. Functionally, you can be in-game but take a call via your phone/BT seamlessly, then get right back into the game. Speaking of gaming, this is what it's all about! I was really pleased - as most people would be - with the Stealth 600 Gen 3s so I wasn't expecting to like these Stealth 700 Gen 3s even more! Everything sounds great as I mentioned during the music listening portion, but this improved audio via the dual drivers and larger 60mm drivers made game audio even more impactful. Whether it was going solo in a hearing-intensive game like Sniper Elite 5 or having a fun, wild time in Fortnite, these really helped make the world come alive and make it seem like I had a better edge than playing with PC speakers, for example. Turtle Beach is known for it's "Superhuman hearing" feature and I gotta say, it helped me surprise some folks that were probably looking to get the jump on me in Fortnite! I'm never going to claim that features like these will make you a pro-level gamer, but I feel that they enhanced my experience and improved some of my performance so that's a plus. The mic was great for simple things like in-game or Discord, but they also worked well for Zoom calls and work meetings. I don't think I'd go as far as recording my YouTube videos on them since I have a dedicated mic for that, but I think they're actually nearly good enough. The AI noise-canceling does a great job of eliminating background noise that I could hear but listeners couldn't! I don't know how often you'll need to quickly switch from PC to PS5, but CrossPlay works as advertised! Press a button on the right earcup and you immediately switch over for low-latency gaming on your PlayStation! I could see this complimenting a compact setup if I had my PS4 or PS5 on my PC desk (hmmmm...). Battery life is phenomenal at a rated 80 hours. In 1 week of testing, I didn't even run the battery down completely. I guess I should game more! Lastly, I really like the control scheme much better than the 600. I like how the right earcup is focused on BT (and 1 CrossPlay button) and the left side is for the PC or PS5 controls. Conclusion ================================= Turtle Beach is no stranger to high-performance gaming products and it looks like we have another winner here with the Stealth 700 Gen 3s! Not only do they have slick, seamless connectivity between consoles, they can do that with your phone via BT as well. On top of all that they come with great controls, deep customization via the app, and a comfortable fit for me (headsize is less than a US 8). I think the best praise I can give it is it has helped declutter my set up by being good enough for music that I can remove my amp and headphones that I was using at my PC for music listening. Now I can do it all with just one great wireless headset!

Absolutely the worst customer service Ive ever had from any company ever, I ordered this ps headset on accident instead of the xbox version. Without opening the box took it straight to fedex so it could be returned. Two weeks laters same package shows up on my porch. I take it to bestbuy store the cashier opens the package which hadnt been opened gets the headset box out opens it and there is a broken old xbox headset. The manager tells me it cant be returned cause its not the same item to deal with it through bestbuy.com. Ive talked to maybe 10 reps, 2 managers, multiple emails which told me they couldnt help to call them which i had done at least 10 times. Not to mention driving back and forthe between fedex and the store. 2 of the reps told me my refund was processed to wait 12 days. I did still nothing, called manager at bestbuy.com today he literally told me he cant do a refund that I will have to deal with the police or my bank. This has absolutely been the worst experience of my life!! Literally stole 150.00 from me, honestly thing about legal action, ridiculous!! I will absolutely never do business with them ever again

--- SETUP --- Setup of this headset requires you to connect the included USB receivers to your PS5 (both need to be connected at the same time for update), a download of an app to your phone, and charging of the headset. After that, you are ready to game! --- FEATURES --- Crossplay use with PC, Nintendo Switch, PS5 and mobile gaming. Pairs with bluetooth to your phone, Mic monitoring, AI noise cancelation, remappable features including wheel, advanced superhuman hearing for footsteps/gunshots, audio presets or custom EQ with free app download. --- EXPECTATIONS and PERFORMANCE --- Turtlebeach has become a staple in this gaming household. This headset piqued my interest because it includes audio receivers that can be used between two gaming platforms. In my case, one goes connected to my gaming PC while the other goes connected to my PS5. On both platforms, the audio for the headset was superb. For my multiplayer sessions, I enjoyed using the superhuman hearing to focus on footsteps. Call of Duty Games seem much more intense yet satisfying knowing that I can hear enemy footsteps with more clarity. For single player sessions, a nice boost to bass sets the mood just right for story-heavy moments. The app is a big plus for this headset. There are so many customization options, yet they do not feel overwhelming or difficult to understand nor adjust. I always like using presets, but for those who want to get into the nitty gritty, you can create multiple custom EQ settings to suit your needs. You can also adjust the mic monitoring volume and customize what the wheels do when you spin them. Comfort level wise, this headset is right up there among the best. It is always a big concern for me that the headset I buy is comfortable to wear with glasses on. I am happy to report that, after 6-8 hour gaming sessions, the headset remained comfortable for me to use. The only concern I had was that, when the app tried to update the headset, it asked for both USB receivers to be connected at the same time. I was able to connect both to my PS5 at the same time for the update to go through, but I’m concerned that I might not be able to receive future updates if I lose one of the receivers. If that happens, though, that would be user error and not the headset’s fault. --- APPROVAL --- This is a true gamer’s headset. It gives you the competitive edge with superhuman hearing, or an immersive experience when playing story-heavy games. For the gamer who owns multiple platforms, this is the headset you’re seeking to invest in.
