I would recommend a longer light strand if you are using it for Christmas tree lights, at least if it's taller than 4ft. The pearls cover the harsh light of an led bulb. You will need to buy a usb-c wall plug to use if you don't own one already (that knocked off a star for me).

I have been using twinkly on my house for a few years now, and they have been great. Now with candies connecting to a USB-C outlet i ha e bene able to make portable objects that are powered by a power bank. This is great for door secorstions, cosplay and other mobile applications.

These Twinkly Candies are so cute hung around a large, plain, potted plant. I purchased a few more sets and lined a few shelves in my office with some whimsical figurines.
