U2 has found yet another way for me to buy all of their albums again. The recent U2 vinyl releases are remastered and pressed on 180 gram vinyl. Vinyl may not be the most convenient format to listen to your favorite songs, but there is something special about taking the time, to sit back and enjoy an album as something more than just background music. Not only does it give you the opportunity to just slow down and enjoy the songs, you begin hearing nuances in songs that you've never heard before.

This was my first experience with U2 and second to The Joshua Tree, Achtung Baby and Zooropa, is among my favorite albums of theirs. I only ever owned it on compact disc and the vinyl was kind of expensive, until I stopped into Best Buy and got it at a much more affordable pricetag. All in all, loved this vinyl release!

Maybe not their best (in some people's minds) but right up there at a time when the band was hitting it's (early) stride. It holds up well as a gritty companion to the times with a nod to 80's pop on "Surrender", but overall Excellent!

This is one of U2's best albums, and the treatment here in 180gram vinyl is awesome. The sound is amazing. A real trip back to the early 80s as U2 transitioned their sound from Irish punk to rock.

Great to grab this U2 album. It was the album that turned me on to this band and I did buy it on vinyl way back in the eighties

I am not a big U2 fan, but this album is one of their better ones. I like Sunday Bloody Sunday and a few others on it.

War is a good, though not great album. Not as much emotional punch as I expected.

Descent recording, I don't think it was their best album but certainly a classic.

Vinyl records can't sustain high temperatures without bending. I wish sellers would take proper care for storing vinyl records. It's a good album but the vinyl was bent and that messes with fidelity. I'm keeping it regardless because I can still listen to it without skipping or jumping. Anyway you get the point.

Awesome pressing of one of U2's best albums. The inner sleeve is paper so there might be some debris on the disc itself, but it's nothing a carbon fiber brush & inner poly sleeve can't immediately remedy.
