A bit more complicated to setup than advertised

Per the headline it is a bit more complicated than Ugreen or their sponsored reviewers would lead you to believe. I had to have a number of chats with various ai's to get the setup right. Each had opposing views on directing user setup and were often wrong. If you do need help Ugreen was useless but Claude reigned supreme in getting it done right. I have it fully setup and secured with 4x 14tb enterprise drives 3x in raid 5 with the 4th as a hot spare. We have Internet on lan 2 and direct to PC 10gbe on lan 1. Currently working flawlessly. As I said the setup is difficult. Things are not where they are said to be in the instructions from Ugreen, although UGOS is easy to navigate it can be limiting. I did implement tailscale to get through some of the network issues.

The set up is easy… putting the seagate hard drives are easy… wish theres a manual for the the apps included but overall is okay
