Pros: Great sound quality. The same sound quality I have come to expect from the UE boom and Mega boom speakers over the years. Cons: Subpar battery performance compared to previous model I owned for 8 years. Battery doesn't always charge when you plug it in to charge. Battery life is about 2 hours of continuous use from fully charged to critical battery, sometimes less. Didn't come with its own charger block, only came with a charging cable. Not what I would expect from UE brand.

Pros: This speaker sounds good for a small speaker. It was easy to pair with & to control from my iPhone. It is light & shaped in a way which makes it easy to move from room to room. It is a fun color. (Although aesthetically, I could do without the huge volume plus & minus signs on the front.) Cons: The description states that it comes with a charging cable, which it does, but it does not come with a plug for the cable, which you have to buy separately. That should be clearly stated in the description. I was unable to charge the speaker until I went out & bought a plug, which was inconvenient & disappointing, as I wasn’t able to use the speaker when I wanted to. Best Buy was helpful & offered a solution, but contacting Ultimate Ears directly yielded no results, aside from a presumptuous assumption that I had to have a plug that fit the cord, which I did not. (How much could it possibly cost them to include a plug?) My experience Ultimate Ears customer service made me not want to buy another one of their products.

I’ve been using the Megaboom 4 for a few weeks, and it’s honestly great for what it is. Super loud, decent bass, and perfect for parties or hanging outside. It’s waterproof, floats, and the battery lasts all day. Ive dropped it on concrete and it kept going. Sound is solid, though the bass can get a little messy at high volume. Don’t expect crazy detail, but for a fun, durable speaker that can handle anything, it’s a win. Would recommend if you want something loud and tough.

I've taken this speaker with me to float on rivers and paddleboard. It works perfectly every time! It sat in water (unintentionally) and the charger port cover kept that component protected and dry. The speaker is loud, plays music clearly, and the controls are easy to understand. And, the color is great!

I just got mine today, and it's way better than the magaboom 3. The sound is much better. It is softer and sounds louder. I had no problems connecting it to the app, as soon as I turned it on it connected.I have had my megaboom3 for 5 years and it is still going strong. The battery is still the same, it lasts quite a while. and with megaboom 4 the party lights up. I highly recommend it.

I have probably 15 different Bluetooth speaker this size before, but this one seems to have the best sound, including very good bass. This thing gets pretty loud without distortion, and the battery lasts longer than I expected. Definitely a buy for padio or any room.

I’ve tried a lot of portable speakers, but the MEGABOOM 4 is on a whole different level. The sound is insanely clear, the bass hits hard, and it stays loud without distortion — even outside. Battery life? Wild. I’ve used it for days without charging. I’ve dropped it, splashed it, thrown it in my gym bag — it just keeps going. One night I played an old playlist, and the sound hit me so deep it brought back memories I forgot I had. That’s what this speaker does — it feels personal. Easily my favorite purchase this year.
