Bought 2 of those on BF. i drive to work 1 hour one way, and my car has constant 12v, mining even while im not driving my camera is on. So first one died in 2 weeks and second one last me another week. Both returned. I think if you going to use it 15 min every day it will last you for 2week/15min=22.4 days :)

Reviewed in store. Seemed to fit what I needed. Good.

I wanted a dash cam but it wasn't on the top of my list but I was in Best Buy on Black Friday and they had these on hand and on sale for $29.00 so I bought it. It had a brand name that I had heard of, it's 1080p HD, records at 1920x1080 or 1280x720, it includes a 8GB memory card but will support up to 32GB. It is small! Anyway, it was a small investment to try out this dash cam, to early to give it a reliable review but early going seems like it was a good buy and would recommend it so far.

The camera finally came after two week delay and was shocked when I opened it! It was a teeny tiny camera! It was bout half the size I thought I was getting! Seems to work fine for now, but will definitely be upgrading to an adult size.

It’s good because it get it on sale $30. And $70 is too much for that.

I purchased this on the recommendation from salesperson. It works well and records a good picture. If you want to keep the power chord out of your view and run on the battery, make sure your trip is less than 30 minutes, very short battery time. The salesperson told me that hers runs for a week on an 8 gb memory card, I bought a 32gb card. I drive for a living and spend about 6 hrs a night on the road, 32gb will not last for this time it will overwrite at about 5hrs. at a record rate of 720, if you up the rate to its best quality picture you will get about 3 hrs on a 32gb card before it starts to overwrites

Good: it will keep recording, when your memory card get full, the new file will cover oldest file. The picture is clear, there are few options for resolution, I think the 1080p is the best in terms of file size and picture quality. It is a small, light camera, very convenient to use. The bad: you have to plug in the power cord if you plan to drive long time. The battery only last 40 minutes in my test.

I picked this up on a Black Friday special. It has a decent picture - I can clearly see what's going on in front of my car when I watch the recordings back. It's 1080p, but not a very clear image sensor or large aperture, so recordings are slightly dark unless you tick up the exposure setting, and it's really hard to read things like license plates in front of you, so if you're using this for evidence in an accident or something, there's certainly better options on the market. But for the price, it's a decent little model to watch people doing silly things out on the highways.

This is a good unit for the price. The screen is a little small, but it was $80, not $180. You'll want to sit in your car with the unit plugged in and go through the instructions, but it's pretty easy to use. Plug it in and it just works. I had to read the instructions to figure out how to set the clock and how to play back, but otherwise it's been fine. Downloading videos to my PC is easy and intuitive, although the videos seem to play back as if you're driving faster than you really are. Otherwise, no complaints.

1) I tried to record when I was driving. It worked fine. The quality of the recording is good but in 1080p mode, every few seconds of recording there was a pause (maybe it was the time to put the recorded images into the sd card). 2) The suction cup could not stay long on the window shield. On contrast, my Garmin GPS and a none brand driving cam are fine to stick on the glass. 3) The mini USB cable should be designed in a 90 degree angle to make it better looking and better using.

The camera itself is small and won’t obscure your view when driving. It’s default setting of turning on when the vehicle starts and off when it turn off my car. The field of view captures a wide angle and the quality of the video is pretty clean...even the night time quality is decent. For the price, this dash cam is well worth it. I bought 3 of these cameras for each of my cars.

Purchased mainly to have record of events in case of an accident. Was not looking for a lot of fancy features nor did I need the very best video quality. This camera works great for basic features. Setup is easy and once you determine your settings, you are done. It starts up automatically when engine starts & turns off when engine stops. I put in a card that had more memory and it wasn't working right but then I reformatted the card with the camera and it's been working since. I actually bought 2 of these (one for each car). One had to be exchanged because the suction cup did not work to attach to window. Otherwise, we have no complaints. Plan to ask our mechanic to "hardwire" them at some point. We did buy the extended warrant because of the hot summers where we live. Got a great holiday price on these.

Had it for a month now, works fine, left it in the car during 103* weather, screen froze for a bit but started working normally again. Videos are pretty clear when watching on computer. License plates can be seen about 10ft in front of vehicle. Easy to use.

I purchased this after my last front dash camera was fried from the heat. I've been using it for about a month and a half now and so far it has exceeded my expectations. It has a wide view, it does well in the heat so far (although I do still take it down out of the sun when I'm not using it), the suction cup on it hasn't broken which I seem to have bad luck with usually, the video itself is fantastic quality, I also really liked that I was able to purchase Geek Squad protection for it since the area I live in gets really hot and humid and tends to harm electronics after so much time and use. This is so far the best dash camera I've purchased out of the 3 kinds I've tried so far. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a cheaper, reliable dash cam.

Wanted a decent car dash cam and this Uniden Cam suits my requirement. Easy to install and have other options like capturing photos, zooming. If some needs cost effective cam with good feature, this is the one.

It is a small and powerful dash cam. Picture quality is good with an option to playback. The collision detection feature is a plus. The only thing I didnt like much is that screen size is too small.

It’s a good camera, it records about 3 minutes on eachs video and then starts a new one, To keep all the road recorded. This is my second dash cam of Uniden because firts one broke down at the second week of use, it suddenly froze the image and stopped working so I went to Bestbuy to ask for a replacement. The camera makes what the specifications says, it records HD videos but the recording system is very basic and annoying because of the 3minutes of each video I said. I recommend this for the price but it could be better.

Seems to work well. The suction cup is very cold sensitive so get it warm before sticking to window. Screen is small but that makes less distraction too.

This is a good dashcam in relation to its price. I just have an accident late in the afternoon during the a snow weather and the recording is crystal clear. It was able to capture everything. I just wish that the screen is bigger so I can review it accordingly and hoping that it record the speed before the impact. Overall it is good. Does Uniden have a specific app application that I can review the recording?

The quality of video that this camera records at is very good and more than what is needed when wanting to pull video for any various purpose. The camera is smaller than was expected, but this helps with limiting reducing any visibility due to it being placed on the windshield. The power cord is extra long which may be a plus for some but is a dislike for me. This product is overall a handy tool for the safety of your driving.
