This Vankyo Leisure 570RB Native Full HD 1080P Wireless Roku TV Smart Single LCD Mini Projector with 100” Screen is a great choice for a home media setup. It makes for a perfect movie night or game night watch party. All you need is an Internet connection, a Roku account, and you are good to go. In the box is the Vankyo Leisure 750RB Mini Projector, 100” Screen, hooks and 2 sided tape for hanging the screen, cleaning kit for the projector, remote control, 2 batteries, power cord for the projector, lens cover for the projector, user manual. Set up isn’t hard at all, but I did need help hanging the screen. I had to have someone hold it for me so that I could mark where to put the hooks. Once the screen was up, I plugged in the projector and started to align it with the screen. In the manual it tells you how far away you need to be for each size of screen. I didn’t have much room, so I wasn’t able to fill up the entire screen, but I was ok with that. I had to first connect it to wifi. I had to sign up for a Roku account which took no time at all. The directions are on the screen and I just went with the flow. It asked me which streaming services I have and subscribe to, and it automatically installed them. It also asked which devices I wanted to connect with as well. I connected several. When setup was done, the projector was good to go and it was connected to my smartphone, a gaming console, my gaming laptop, and my tablet. I didn’t connect to our TV service provider, but it gave me the option. I was able to get through setup and what apps it installed, install the Roku app on my smartphone, in less than 30 minutes. That’s pretty impressive. There is a screw underneath the projector that you can adjust to raise the front of the projector to align it better to the screen. That came in handy for sure. Features: This mini projector is small, lightweight, and portable. You can take it on vacation, keep it at home, or take it to the office. It’s small enough and light enough that you can take it with you without a hassle. The way the screen hangs on the hooks, it’s easy to take down and put back up, if you leave the hooks in place. The projector is pretty bright for a mini projector with 280 lumens. The native resolution is 1080p and it gives you a fantastic picture. The user manual said the optimal size of screen to use with this projector is an 80” screen. I used it with that size and with a larger size picture. They both looked really good. The sound is great too. It has Dolby Audio built in. You can also connect other speakers to it via Bluetooth. There is an HDMI port too, which I used to hook up my gaming console and play games on it. Playing a video game on that huge screen was nothing but awesome!! I had a blast with that. The remote control is a handy remote. It does everything needed. It has shortcuts to the popular streaming apps, Setup, Power, and navigational buttons. The ports are 2x USB, 1x HDMI, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. Summary: It’s a great projector and even better than I expected. It was easy to setup and easy to use. It can be used for watching movies, televisions shows, sporting events, and playing video games. I do recommend this projector.

I was looking for an easy, affordable way to enjoy outdoor movie nights when I came across the Vankyo Leisure 570RB projector. What immediately stood out to me was that it has Roku built right in. I've been using Roku devices for years so I was glad to see it included. Setup couldn't have been much easier. I already have several Roku devices on my account and adding this projector was quick and painless. Connecting it to my home Wi-Fi was just as simple. One feature that really impressed me was the autofocus and automatic keystone correction. I have a much more expensive ceiling-mounted projector in my theater room and it does not have those features. Considering the price of this projector, that's pretty remarkable. If the automatic adjustments aren't exactly to your liking, you can always fine-tune everything manually in the settings. The built-in speakers are perfectly adequate for casual use. Even though they are only 5 watts they get plenty loud enough for a backyard movie, but if you want a fuller sound with some bass you'll want to hook up an external speaker system, or in my case, I connected one of my Bluetooth speakers which helped a lot. The included 100-inch screen is a nice bonus. I probably won't use it since I already have several projection screens, but for someone just getting started it's a welcome addition and adds value to the package. Picture quality is very good for a projector in this price range. The native 1080p resolution produces a clear, enjoyable image that's more than suitable for backyard movies, camping, or family gatherings. Brightness is rated at only 280 lumens so it's obviously nowhere near my home theater projector (3,600 lumens). Even so, as long as you're using it after dark or in a dim environment, it performs surprisingly well and is more than capable for its intended purpose. I’ve included a photo of the projector illuminating my basement screen when the room was dark. The projected image is about 100 inches. Also included is a picture pointing at my garage door. That projected image is about 180 inches and it was not a completely dark evening. You can see in that photo that the brightness coming from the Vankyo is pretty darned good for 280 lumens. Overall, this is great product featuring a sufficiently bright picture, good speakers, Roku inclusion is fantastic, autofocus works well, and an included 100 inch screen. At this price point the Vankyo Leisure 570RB is absolutely a 5-star product.

The 100" projector screen is a large simple piece of fabric. It comes with hooks and double sided tape.  Set up for the Vankyo Leisure 570 mini projector was pretty easy. First decide how and where you're going to use the projector. There are four orientation options available- front or rear desktop, front or rear ceiling (a mounting screw is not included). (Just make sure you select the applicable method during the set up process.) Plug the power cable in on the bottom, take off the lense cover, and press the power button on. The projector has auto-focus and will  automatically adjust the image. Follow the prompts in the  setup  and you're all set! You can personalize your home screen with your channels so you can stream movies, sports and TV.  I love how small and lightweight this projector is. At only 3 pounds it easily can be transported wherever you need and doesn't take up a lot space. It's simple to use and you can watch all your TV shows or movies almost anywhere with the built in Roku TV. The included screen is also a bonus. The projector itself will offer a picture size that ranges from 38" to 200".  I could see the auto focus working and the picture even on my wall was nice and clear. The 280 lumens of white offered plenty of brightness and color contrast. One thing I noticed is that you will need to make sure your projector is as level as possible on a flat surface when on a desktop because it does not have adjusable feel. The sound was sufficient for what is included but if you want more you will need to connect a speaker or soundbar. Overall, I am impressed on the quality of this compact and portable projector. It's affordable and easy to use. It's a great way to introduce yourself to a projector.

Overall, this is a nice projector, and I am very pleased with it. Unboxing was easy, and everything was packed neatly inside the box. The included screen is folded, which initially concerned me because I expected noticeable creases. Fortunately, once it was unfolded, there were none. The screen has metal grommets for wall mounting. While it can be a little difficult to pull completely taut, it works well and gets the job done. The screen itself is fairly basic, but that’s all it really needs to be. The projector comes with the power cord, remote, batteries, and cleaning supplies. I do wish it included a carrying case, but I’ll simply store it back in the original box when it’s not in use. Once everything was set up, I appreciated how simple the projector is. There are only four ports on the side, and the front features a screw-adjustable pedestal foot that raises the projector about an inch for easy height adjustment. When powered on, the projector automatically performs focus and keystone correction using a checkerboard pattern projected onto the wall. It quickly adjusts the image to its maximum size and squares it up, even if the projector is positioned at an angle. This is a great feature compared to older projectors that required perfect placement. After connecting to Wi-Fi, the projector downloaded a firmware update, which only took a few minutes. Roku setup was straightforward. If you already have a Roku account, signing in is easy. If not, Roku emails you a registration link, and the process only takes a few minutes. Once setup is complete, the projector automatically downloads any streaming apps you selected, such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, YouTube, and others. The built-in speaker is decent for basic viewing, but it lacks much bass and overall power. It’s fine for watching something indoors in a quiet room, but for movies or outdoor use, I would definitely recommend connecting an external speaker, which is fairly typical for projectors. Connecting a Bluetooth speaker is simple through Settings, Remotes & Devices, Bluetooth Headphones and Speakers. The projector also supports audio output through the 3.5 mm auxiliary jack, HDMI, or its built-in speakers. You can also connect compatible smartphones and tablets, and it appears to support Roku wireless speakers if purchased separately. My Bluetooth speaker paired immediately the first time, although I did experience noticeable audio delay. I wasn’t able to find a setting to correct the synchronization. A second Bluetooth speaker didn’t connect at first, but after restarting the projector, it paired immediately. One nice surprise was that the projector’s remote was able to control the Bluetooth speaker’s volume. If you use the 3.5 mm auxiliary connection instead of Bluetooth, there is no audio delay. It may be worth purchasing a longer auxiliary cable if your speaker will be positioned away from the projector. The Roku interface includes several fun customization options, such as different backgrounds, screensavers, and button sounds. The Home button on the remote is very convenient, and downloading new apps is extremely simple. Just locate the app you want, press OK, and it installs quickly. The process is very similar to using an Amazon Fire TV Stick. One feature I really appreciated is the automatic refocusing. If the projector gets bumped, it immediately refocuses itself and returns to a sharp image within seconds. Picture quality is excellent when projected onto a light-colored painted wall in a dark room. The image is crisp, sharp, and exceeded my expectations. Overall, I am very impressed with this projector. It’s easy to set up, simple to use, offers excellent picture quality, and includes several thoughtful features that make the overall experience enjoyable. Aside from wishing it included a carrying case and having some Bluetooth audio delay, I have very few complaints. I would definitely recommend it.

Projectors can be expensive and difficult to setup. And then there’s an issue of quality. This Vankyo projector is a great balance of all these concerns and is worthy of consideration, especially for family movie nights. It has a good price point, native 1080p resolution and official integration with Roku. IN THE BOX In the box you will find the projector itself, a power cord (that’s decently long), HDMI cable, user manual, and a 100 inch portable projection screen (it’s folded fabric that has hooks) along with some adhesive hooks. DESIGN The projector has a clean aesthetic, all white, with curved corners and pressure sensitive illuminated control buttons on top. (although I always use the remote). The projector has sensors to help with auto-focus and keystone correction. That means whenever you move it (or bump into it) it instantly squares and sharpens the image without you having to turn any dials. A great feature when you’re moving it around on the go looking for the best setup. The projector is small enough to carry around in a bag for travel. And it’s light enough to be setup on almost anything. It does have a standard tripod mount (great idea) so you can place it on a tripod to get the correct height. There’s also an adjustable leg that unscrews at the bottom when it’s placed on hard surface to point it upwards. The fan, however, is a little loud. While it doesn’t overpower movies or shows (when using the internal speaker) it does produce a noticeable hum - that you do eventually get used to and forget about. There’s also no lens cover. There is a cap, but its made of rubber with no locking mechanism and I think it falls out easily. Not a reason not to get it by any means, but something to keep in mind when traveling. SETUP It’s pretty easy and highly intuitive. The only difference is whether you already have a Roku account or not. I did not, but creating an account was super easy. If you have one, you can simply log in. The WiFi connection was also easy to setup and plenty fast. Once connected and logged into Roku, you can sign directly into your video streaming app of choice. Of course, you could bypass that and plug in your own streaming device into the HDMI port. You can of course plug in a gaming system if you’d like. This route simply treats your projector as a monitor, but to me, that defeats the purpose of having a simple all-in-one device. Unless you’re gaming which using the HDMI is your only real option. PERFORMANCE - PICTURE AND SOUND QUALITY While there’s certainly some limitations to this projector, at this price point, however, I believe the features are pretty good. It displays in native 1080p, which is heads and shoulders above other budget projectors at 720p. It really is a tangible difference. Text is legible and crisp and so is the image. The brightness is rated at 200-280 lumens. So while it us usable in a dimly lit room with some ambient light, don’t even consider using it in a bright room. But in a dark room, or outside when it’s dark, it really shines. The size of the image ranges from 40 inches to 120 inches. The manual says 80 inches is the sweet spot (which is odd since it comes with a 100 inch screen). The digital zoom feature allows you to shrink the image size (a little bit) to fit your wall/screen without having to move the unit - although there are some limitations. It has two 5W speakers with Dolby Atmos support. Don’t expect to be blown away with surround sound, but in an average size room the sound is surprisingly loud. It has enough sound that you won’t absolutely need a soundbar or other speaker, but you can run an AUX cable to other speakers depending on your needs and the equipment you have available. MISCELLANEOUS I like how they included a screen, even though it’s basically a white sheet. It has metal holes to affix it to the wall, etc. and even comes with hooks. I didn’t use the adhesive hooks because I don’t have a place in my house where I would permanently want it. But it’s nice for those that might. At 100 inches, the sheet is a little difficult to deal with while traveling (unless you have equipment to hold it). The keystone feature while nice,.isn’t perfect. But know that you can manually tweak it in the settings when you’re at an odd angle. Using a tripid was a great way to get the correct height without balancing it on books to get it high enough to reach the screen. I really enjoy that feature. One other downside is that there’s no battery. While one can’t expect to have a battery powered projector at this price point, it does create logistical hurdles when watching outdoors or traveling. Just something to keep in mind. CONCLUSION At this price point, you get a pretty good package. Built in streamer that doesn’t require any additional equipment, and the automatic keystone and focusing features are great as well as the built in speakers. While I didn’t personally use the screen, I’m always happy when companies give you those extras as I’m sure someone will be able to take advantage of it.

I have to say that this projector really surprised me! I was expecting it to be just good but the picture quality and ease of use is amazing! It’s smaller than I was expecting too, only about 9 1/4” x 7 1/2” x 3”. I found the set up to be very simple, the focus and keystone adjustment are automatically adjusted on power up. If for some reason the auto settings can’t resolve the picture there is a manual adjustment in the settings menu. I did have to do that in one case, I had the projector about 13 feet from a wall and one corner was blocked by the armrest of the couch. There’s a screen that is displayed on startup that is black and white, partially checkerboard with L shaped brackets in the corners. One of the brackets was obscured by the armrest and the auto settings for keystone couldn’t work I assume since it couldn’t “see” the fourth bracket. Any other time, if I gave it a flat surface to shine on it worked perfect for me. We have a large window with a white blackout roller shade that I used as a screen, it’s about 77” on the diagonal and with the projector about 7’ away it was a good fit. I did try it larger, as much as 12’ on the diagonal across the whole wall and the picture quality was still really good. I mounted the projector temporarily to a camera tripod since it has a 1/4-20 threaded mount and that let me try the projector at different heights and the auto keystone adjustment worked perfect every time but the one exception I noted previously. If I moved the projector while it was on to adjust the picture size or angle of the projector then that test screen would pop up and it would readjust the focus and keystone for me. Really easy to use! The picture quality in a darkened room is great, even if there’s a little light in the room it still worked good. We get some sunlight bleed through the blinds on the patio door so we can’t fully darken the room during the day and I have no complaints. Other than the AC cord to plug in the projector can be run wireless, it connects to wifi for streaming, I was able to load my favorite apps during set up. This is my first Roku device, we have Fire Sticks and the menus are similar so it felt familiar straight out of the box. The built in speaker works adequately but a big screen needs a big sound IMHO. I paired it with a large Bluetooth portable speaker and that worked great. If you have a couple Bluetooth speakers that can be synced I bet it would be even better. This would be just the ticket for family or even neighborhood movie night outdoors on a nice night, I believe you could fabricate a frame for the screen from PVC pipe pretty easily to set it up temporarily outdoors. The included screen has metal grommets to hang it and comes with adhesive hooks to attach it to a wall.

It’s a solid projector! It has Roku built in! What more do you need to know? Just buy it! But seriously, this is a good choice for the price. My intended use is to attach the included fabric screen to the legs of my gazebo, and watch movies outside. Or, I can set it up near my hot tub and project the image onto the lid. In either case, it works great, as long as it is sufficiently dark outside. It even comes with a starter 100” screen. I am a huge fan of Roku devices because they support every streaming service, including little-known ones like Hoopla. The user interface is familiar, and there are no surprises. Having it built in is nice, as I don’t have to plug in a separate streaming stick. Of note is that the remote uses IR instead of Bluetooth, so you will need to point it at the screen or the projector. As to the projector functionality, it is great, with nice brightness for the price. It features the extra-nice features that are often missing on less expensive models, such as the ability to mirror the display (for use in rear projection), and/or the ability to flip the image upside-down, should you wish to mount this to a ceiling. It has the option to automatically adjust both the focus and the keystone, or you can adjust those manually. It has a small camera that it uses to see the image, so it adjusts the focus and figures out how far it is to the screen, and uses this to determine the right keystone settings. But you can also adjust this manually, as well as zoom the image (make it smaller) so that it easily fits on a smaller screen, should the need arise. Finally, while the on-board speakers are functional, there is also an option to connect a bluetooth speaker to really crank up the volume. Finally, there is also an HDMI input port for plugging in other sources. Finally, there is a standard ¼” tripod hole on the bottom, and a port for cleaning the LCD (cleaning kit included in the box). This is a great unit, but it is not perfect. The minor annoyances are as follows. First, there is no option that I could find to adjust the brightness. This same company makes other projectors that allow you to choose between three brightness levels, which also affects the fan speed. In my testing, the fan was not too obtrusive, but circumstances vary, and it may bother some. The lens cover is also just a simple rubber cap that is easy to lose. The lens behind the cap moves in and out in order to focus, so if you just pull the power plug you may not be able to have the lens cap stay without plugging it back in to have the lens retract during a proper power-down. Some projectors use a separate power brick, but this one has the power supply built in, and you only need a two-pin AC cord. The strange thing is that the power jack is on the bottom, and the power cord has an unusual right-angle plug, which you will absolutely need if you intend to use this on a table, so don’t lose it.

TLDR: Reasonably priced, lightweight, 1080P, 280 lumens, LCD projector with Roku streaming OS, speaker and included screen and remote. Bluetooth for external speakers or via 3.5mm audio output jack. Native best picture onto 38 inch screen; brightness is usable but not super bright for huge areas. Price is great and Roku works fine via WiFi. So this is not a major brand with super brightness and wont create a giant image with great brightness and clarity but if used with a viewed size of approximately 38-42 inches the quality is very good for the price this sells on the market. Connections are easy since it uses WiFi to enable the internet data and it has the Roku operating system built in for streaming literally almost everything that exists both free and with paid subscriptions. Note: Roku offers many hundreds of “networks” with commercial ads for free. I connected both a Bose Bluetooth speaker and some Bluetooth headphones and they work fine also for increased sound output but the built-in speaker is also good. It has a HDMI connection port to connect it to other sources of video such as a computer, Blueray disc player, and other content. The internal light source is LEDs which regularly have a long service life. The unit is powered by a plug in power transformer with a thin wire that plugs into the projector. The transformer creates 21 volts DC. It includes a remote control for many functions. It supports displaying JPG, PNG, BMP, GIF, and JPEG image files. It supports displaying MKV, MP4,FLV,MOV,MPG,3GP AND MPEG1 video file formats. All of these formats are also playable from a USB storage drive plugged into the 2 available USB ports. If you subscribe to Netflix, Prime, and other paid services you can enjoy those too via the Roku OS. Freebie streaming such as Pluto and Fubo also work fine if cast to the projector using your smartphone or tablet and on the same WiFI network as the projector. Note that the brightness is that high so the best use of this is in a room with not many windows and good blinds or in the evening where it produces the best image quality. It can be mounted on a table, on the ceiling using a ceiling mount, or on a shelf. It weighs a scant 5.5 pounds and is a compact 9 X 7 X 3 inches in size. It has 2 internal small speakers rated at 5 watts at 8 ohms. All in all a good device for the low price.

The Vankyo Leisure 570 is a nice portable projector. This isn't my first projector, and I was very impressed with what I saw when tying it out. I'll start with all the good details. The Leisure 570 is a compact and portable projector, easy to just pick up and go, it was roughly a 1/3 the size of my Epson LS650. It puts out a full HD 1080p picture that looks nice is very bright, and can reach up to 200". I watched some movies and even played some Playstation on it and it looked good. The best feature is the auto focus and auto keystone which automatically adjusts the image based on the height and distance placement of the projector to fit the display surface and to get a clear picture. It also has built in speakers that work pretty good for its compact size. A great add-on is the included 100" screen which saves you a few bucks on having to buy it separately, its nothing fancy just a regular 100" white plastic screen, still its nice to get one. I actually tried this out on my 120" Silver Ticket grey screen to get an improvement in contrast and it still looked pretty good. The projector is powered by Roku so you'll have all your favorite streaming apps ready to start watching your favorite shows and movies. Now for the negatives. This is a Long Throw/Standard Throw projector, which means its gonna have to be a good distance away from the display surface for it to fully reach its 200" picture size. Just to reach the full 120" I was trying to get I had to set the projector about 10ft away from the screen. This was a bit of a shock for me since I've gotten used to UST projectors. The projector also lacks customizable control over display and audio, there is no brightness or color or contrast or gamma adjustments or any EQ settings, this made it impossible to adjust for greyscaling or washout because of the high brightness. Lastly, I'm not a big fan of the Roku UI, its not as intuitive as my experience with LG and Google UIs, and to top it off it requires an account before you can even access the main hub. Overall, the Vankyo Leisure 570 is a good choice for anyone wanting a beginner or budget friendly projector for the kids or themselves. I was very interested in it because it is portable, this means I'm not having to lug around my monitors when I travel. However, the automatic display adjustment features definitely got me to like it some more. Despite the negatives, I think its pretty good for what it is.

The Vankyo - Leisure 570RB Native Full HD 1080P Wireless Roku TV Smart Single LCD Mini Projector, S produces a sharp and clear HD picture onto a large cloth screen. It performs simlar to the Roku stick, giving you a main page of apps that can become active with a paid subscription and a few apps that offer free viewing of their older produced content. I noticed the size of the screen’s picture is in proportion to the distance from the screen. The Vankyo automatically makes the adjustment for me. The volume can not blast enough to fill a large room, but I can attach an external Bluetoothspeaker, if needed. I get the Roku set up of Live TV and subscription apps to give me hours of movies, TV shows and sports programming. On the down side, there are no developer options for installation of third party apps. It is impossible to sideload any apk apps. To enjoy the Vankyo to its fullest potential, I must take out my bankcard and subscribe to multiple apps for content that can be sideloaded for free. The few free apps have no current produced movies or TV shows, only content from years past are shown. The Vankyo has silent operation and ventilates well enough not to become over heated. Its size is small to have placement in any area of the home. The screen is large and makes the picture appear theater like. Outside of not having DTV from the airwaves, the Vankyo - Leisure 570RB Native Full HD 1080P Wireless Roku TV Smart Single LCD Mini Projector, S gives you the same viewing as a smart TV.

The Vankyo Leisure 570RB projector is a neat addition to our home entertainment. It is powered by Roku which is familiar because we have a couple of TVs running the same UI. Even the remote is Roku so if you lose it, it should not be hard to replace. I already have a Roku account so the setup is very easy. It asked what streaming service I have. I also use Plex and to my surprise, I was already logged in? Two things I want to share to get it out the way. This is 280 Lumens. Do not expect it to work well with some light. I tried it in the loft next to a window around 5:30pm – sun is setting. It is not a good experience. This is truly a lights off, night time or dark room projector. Next, make sure you have a 3.5mm cable so you can connect it to some nice speakers. The built-in speaker is not that great. You can plug in headphones but you will be the only one hearing anything. There are no legs to adjust so it sits flat. You will need something to make it tilt like magazine or book or anything to tilt it, but depends on your set up. It does have a ¼" mounting screw compatible so you can hang it from the ceiling. You can change orientation upside down. Now that is out of the way, here are some things that are great. Set up is truly easy. It has an auto focus. There is a sensor that detects position change and it will run the auto focus automatically, you can turn this off but I left it on because it is very convenient. Because it is running Roku, there are many apps that you can use. For audio, there is a 3.5mm jack. I have a portable speaker with aux port for 3.5mm. This also supports HDMI ARC for both input and output. So soundbars should work with ARC. I wanted this to be as portable as possible so I will be using my portable speaker. This does come with 100” projection screen with double sided adhesive and hooks. So far, I have only projected against the side of my house in the back yard. I have a portable 1kWh size battery that I can plug this project and speaker to. I also have EVs with outlets so when we go camping we can bring it along if we want to watch some things. It also has support for Apple devices and Home Kit. I wish it had bluetooth support for sound so I could connect it to bluetooth speakers but that may just introduce more issues like latency. I really like the projector.

The Vankyo Leisure 570 with Roku TV and 100 Inch Screen is hard to beat, especially at this price point. Setup was straight forward and thanks to the Auto Focus and Auto Keystone feature, very simple. To be perfectly honest, setting up the Roku TV account, while simple, was the longest part of the process. From unboxing to streaming took a little under 15 minutes. I was a bit skeptical about how well the Auto Keystone feature would perform, but admittedly I'm impressed. Moving the projector will automatically trigger the Keystone/Focus correction allowing you to enjoy the best possible picture, without the hassle of finding the perfect projection spot. The picture quality is surprisingly crisp, colors are well defined and vibrant, provided you are in a sufficiently dark room. The audio quality is decent at normal levels but seemed a little distorted at maximum volume. Overall, I was impressed by both the picture and audio quality as I have seen and heard worse on much more expensive systems. This system includes a 100 inch projection screen and mounting hardware. My room wasn't large enough to test the full 200" projection, but the picture quality at 100" was great, at 150" it started to wash out a bit. Overall, I was quite impressed by the entire system. The picture quality, sound, included screen, auto keystone/focus correction, and built-in Roku TV make this a complete, budget friendly system perfect for family movie night.

If you want a simple way to get a huge screen without paying a fortune or overcomplicating your setup, this Vankyo projector does the job really well. It hits a sweet spot between being compact, easy to use, and offering solid picture quality for a reasonable price. For me a few standout features that make it worth picking up include: Built in Roku: Having full Roku software built right into the system is a massive plus. You don’t need to dangle a streaming stick out of the back or mess around with phone screen mirroring. As soon as you connect it to Wi-Fi, all your usual streaming apps are right there on the screen and easy to navigate with the included remote or the Roku app on your phone. Automatic Focus and Picture Alignment: One of the most frustrating parts of projectors is trying to manually tweak the focus dial to get a sharp image and messing with adjustable feet to get the picture to fit your space. This unit automatically focuses and squares up the picture as soon as you turn it on or reposition it. It also allows you to do this manually as well if you do position it in an odd space that requires some slight tweaking, but fortunately it is all through the built in software. 100-Inch Screen Included: It comes with a 100 inch fabric screen right out of the box. For the price this is where I was pleasantly surprised as it saves you the extra step and cost of buying one separately, and it provides a much smoother, clearer picture than just projecting onto textured drywall or a sheet. Clear 1080p Image: The native resolution is sharp and clear. Darker rooms are where it naturally works best, showing bright colors and clear text without looking fuzzy or washed out. Solid Built-in Audio and Bluetooth: The integrated speakers are fairly clear and loud enough for a bedroom or small room setup. If you do want extra volume you can easily pair it to a Bluetooth speaker without running audio cables. Lightweight and Portable: It weighs less than three pounds so moving it from a living room side table to a bedroom or taking it outside takes no effort at all. Overall it checks all the boxes for a modern mini projector and at an affordable cost. It turns on quickly, handles streaming natively, and gives you a clear big screen picture without requiring a complicated installation. For family movie nights, casual gaming, and leisure tv watching I would highly recommend this projector.

What’s in the Box: Projector Power Cable Remote control with batteries 100 inch screen with grommets and clips for hanging Lense cleaning kit I am pleasantly surprised by this small projector. Even though it is light and fairly compact, it projects a clear bright image in a moderately dark room (daytime with the blinds closed). Setup was very easy. I positioned the projector on a small table about 8 to 10 feet from the wall, plugged the projector in, put the included batteries in the remote control, removed the lense cover and turned the projector on. The projector displayed a pattern and proceeded to auto focus and auto keystone correcting. I added it to my network and logged into my Roku account. We were up and running! The picture was good on the large portable screen, but I have a nice blank white wall and that worked just as well. The audio was good. Not quite as good as a nice soundbar, but noticably better than my TV audio. There are USB A, HDMI and audio ports for external connections. But the ability to stream through a WIFI connection is built in. This projector runs on the ROKU OS. If you have a ROKU device or a ROKU TV, the interface will be very familiar. The Remote is identical to my ROKU device remote except for the small Vankyo label near the bottom. This remote also works my old ROKU. (I wound up unplugging the old ROKU during testing.) I had to sign in to each of my installed apps and had to download a couple that didn’t show up. But I was surprised at how quick and easy it was to get everything the way I wanted it. In summary, this portable projector works well. It has a clear picture in a dark to moderately darkened room. The audio is good enough that I didn’t bother connecting it to an external audio output. The interface is the familiar ROKU one. It is modestly priced and portable.

We have been using this projector for family movie nights and weekend streaming for two weeks, and it's honestly become one of our favorite setups at home. Most nights we just dim the lights and project onto a blank wall in the living room. The picture looks sharp and the brightness is good enough so we don't have to make the room completely dark. The built-in Roku TV has been super convenient. Streaming over 5G WiFi has been smooth so far with no issues. For everyday use, this feels much easier than setting up a traditional TV. We are really happy with it so far and would definitely recommend it if you're looking for something simple for movies and streaming at home.

I like how easy it is to use. The built-in Roku works really well, so we don’t have to connect any extra devices, and the wireless connection has been stable with smooth streaming and quick loading. The picture quality looks sharp and clean for movies and shows. What surprised me the most was actually the sound. The built-in speakers are more than enough for a bedroom setup and the audio comes through really clearly. We actually have a soundbar at home, but haven't felt the need to use it since setting this up. Best projector ever!

This projector has an amazing picture. It was easy to set up. It's easy to use. It's definitely a great value.

Pool party or neighborhood block party this projector is great we used this during our 4th of July 250th year anniversary party and people loved it the screen is very easy to build and easy to disassemble in minutes add an amazing outside speaker like we did and you are ready to go.
