If you're considering purchasing the Vankyo TP20 Tripod, do yourself a favor and don't. When purchasing the TP20, I liked that it "appeared" heavy-duty and thought it would be a good option for the price point. However, while most of the tripod is Aluminum, all the essential parts that move or provide stability are cheap plastic. I can't provide a review of my experience "using" this because it arrived broken. One of the plastic "arms" connecting the tripod's center to the legs was snapped. This renders the tripod completely useless. I then decided to at least look at the extending legs to make sure the height was good for me. I started to extend the legs, and the entire leg of the tripod popped off...smh. So I guess you can say this tripod now identifies as a Bipod. Who knew?! After experiencing how cheaply made this thing really is, I will be returning it for a refund. Save yourself the headache and purchase a different tripod. I have a Dewalt tripod that holds a laser that is much better quality. I may look into repurposing that tripod or purchasing a tripod that is designed for DSLR cameras. I understand that doing so will come with a higher price tag, but hey, hopefully, that will mean I can actually use the tripod instead of sitting here complaining about it in a review and wasting my time. I hope this helps someone. Good luck!

I was able to get two uses out of thrust projector stand, but unfortunately, the plastic clamp design didn’t make it to the third. The frame is aluminum, however there is a plastic block used to wedge the riser tube in place. This is surrounded by another plastic fitting that snapped, rendering the whole stand inoperable. Either they should offer spare parts for purchase or upgrade the fittings.

Cheap Build, used it a handful of times, felt a little wonky but figured as long as I was careful with it all would be well. I was wrong, this last time I opened it for Superbowl Party outdoors, saw one of the rubber rings come loose and when I tried to fold it back up to store one of the leg frames that hold it in place broke off.

This stand worked exactly the way I needed it to. It’s easy to set up, feels stable, and the height adjustment gives me plenty of flexibility depending on the room. The tray holds the projector securely with no wobble, and the whole thing is lightweight enough to move around without feeling cheap. Overall, I’m really happy with it and it does the job perfectly.

Very sturdy for the price. The height adjusts smoothly and it holds my projector without wobbling. Light enough to move around but still solid.

This projector stand is lightweight, sturdy and very portable! Super easy to set up and take down. Only change that would make it even better is for the flat top to be foldable so it can go inside carry case with the rest of the stand. I’m super happy with it overall!

The item purchased was exactly what I needed for my studio. The workers were very helpful with the purchase. Best buy has the staff with that personal touch!!!

It's a very sturdy and well built tripod. Plenty of space for your projector or even could be used for a Laptop stand. Comes with a couple of nice elastic straps and a rubberized surface to prevent the projector from sliding around. My only nitpicking item is that there isn't any tilt available at all on the tripod base itself. I sort of expected it would have a typical pan/tilt head, but it's a solid platform at any rate.

It works great for what i need it to. I like the fact that i can assist the height of it, it makes it easier to put it anywhere with my portable screen.
