I bought this thermal camera to check for heat loss around my windows and trace some hot spots in my breaker panel. The resolution is sharp enough to clearly distinguish between tightly packed wires, and the refresh rate keeps the image fluid while panning across a wall rather than lagging or stuttering. It plugs directly into my phone and works without any tricky setup. The physical connector is a bit rigid, so I have to remove my thicker phone case to seat it properly, but the actual thermal performance and accurate readings make it a capable tool for everyday diagnostic work.
