The stainless steel blades and "S" shape fixed blade guard do a good job of preventing suction at the bottom of the pot, which makes blending large batches of soup much easier. The attachments twist on and off securely, and the fact that they are dishwasher safe simplifies the cleanup process significantly

The blades are very sharp; when the blender starts running, the noise level is not excessive—quite acceptable—and it quickly chops the meat into a very fine consistency.
