I must admit, this is one of the coolest looking, high quality RC vehicles I've ever purchased or even played around with. The packaging is top notch. And the fact that you get a beautiful bright red RC super car and a transformer all in one makes it even that much better. This transformer car is super easy to control and it has a one-key transformation from car to robot, that is smooth and exciting to use. Everything from the RC car, the detailing of the car and robot, the lighting, and even the included remote control are all high quality. The transformer car comes in a large 1/10 scale, which is about 18 inches long, and is the perfect size for an RC car in my opinion. Especially in this price range. And the car can transform while moving or stopped. It can also be used as a regular RC racing car, but it's not too fast, and it has limited functionality as a racing car. The front wheels don't move, or touch the ground for that matter, and steering is done with a single rear wheel rotation. However, a small wheel underneath the middle of the car compensates for this, allowing basic maneuvers to be performed. It comes with two rechargeable batteries for the car, and a charging cable for each battery, that light up while charging, and turn off when charging is complete. And the remote controller takes two AA batteries which are not included. The RC car batteries last a very long time compared to many of my other RC vehicles in this price range. My kids can play with it for an hour or so for a few days straight without recharging it more than once. It's a perfect gift for any youngster that loves cool looking cars. Or anyone who grew up watching those awesome Transformers movies as well. Great for gifting, also great toy to have around the house for kids and adults to play with. Highly recommended. And you can purchase this one with confidence, because the customer support is top notch.
