As a dad with young kids who love playing with drones, the Veeniix V995 is the kind of toy that makes spending time together fun. The kids love the flips and spins, and of course, everybody wants another turn, including Dad! The simple takeoff and landing controls are a nice feature for beginners. I appreciate having different speed settings so we can start slow while the kids get comfortable with steering. There’s still some learning involved, but that’s part of the fun. The protective guards are a big plus for me. With young kids learning to fly, bumps are pretty much inevitable, so having that extra protection is reassuring. I still supervise when we play, but the small size and enclosed propellers make it feel more manageable for family use. Having three batteries is handy, especially when everyone wants a turn. Just keep in mind that the advertised 21 minutes is the combined time from all three batteries, so expect short flights and battery swaps along the way. Overall, this is a fun little beginner drone for enjoying some playtime with the kids. The best part for me is sharing something they’re excited about—and getting an occasional turn at the controls myself!

My 8YO and 10YO are really enjoying this little drone. It reaponds well to the remote and is durable when we accidentally crash. We absolutely love that it came with extra batteries to keep the fun going non stop. I docked it 1 star only because we find it tough to get the battery connected. It is super tiny and my sons cant get it in and mt fingers are almost too big to get in there and line up the end. Worth the price!
