was trying to burn home videos that we converted to DVD and could not find DVD-R that had enough memory. These have enough memory and work great on my dvd player

I finally found a DVD product that has more than 120 minutes capacity! I have several VHS tapes that needed to be transferred to DVD so I wouldn't lose them, but the videos were at least 3 hrs. long. I couldn't be happier with the Verbatim 240 minute 8.5 GB storage DVD's. Good quality!!

Verbatim discs are hands down the best media to write on. They have an extremely low failure rate, and I have never had an issued burning anything on these. I have been using these for over 10 years and recommend them to anyone who want reliable media to write to.

these discs are fine except i dont need them in jewel cases that makes it more expensive as once i burn stuff on them i put them in a discbinder so put more in the pack and make them less expensive and have more of a selection there was only this one kind to choose from

These discs store twice the amount of data than the conventional DVD disc. Tried one of them with a long movie that wouldn't fit on a regular DVD. The movie fit, but my DVR player wouldn't read beyond the 4.7 capacity limit.
