I dont know what the deal with Verizon is when it comes to payment types. However they have stopped accepting certain types of card payments out of nowhere. I must say that it was a major inconvenience and hassle to even get the information that it was them, not us. The short version... being able to buy this prepaid card online and sometimes at discount has made life so much easier! The more detailed version... my mother receives SSI on the Direct Express Mastercard Debit card that Social Security uses as default for all monthly payments. This is her only income and way to pay for things, unless she uses an ATM to get cash. My mom still uses a flip phone y'all... that should give somewhat an idea of what I'm working with. My mom and I live a good distance away from each other but I'm still able to assist with certain things she may have trouble navigating. Each month when her SSI deposits to her account, I pay her rent, utilities, and Verizon prepaid cellphone bill (that renews on the 1st of every month) all online. If her phone service is off, she has no immediate way to contact others. Keep in mind, this card is ONLY for SSI deposits and I'm sure a large percentage of recipients use this default option. Additionally, most senior's I know have prepaid cellphone service. Back to the issue... so, I'm attempting to pay her phone bill one month and it's not taking the payment online or over the phone. It took countless contact numbers found online and several loooong HOURS to get a live representative because the automated system kept looking for the # I was calling from vs asking what # I was calling about. Then it said there's no record of my # having an account with them, before disconnecting the call. I pushed every button on the keypad and they all ended the same. When I finally spoke to a person, they tried the card and it still did not work. I explained that my mother has used and paid for their prepaid service with the same card for the last 10-15yrs minimum and something has to be going wrong on their end. I was placed on hold, and the rep returned saying that don't take cards that are not in some particular network or something... they may have said United Banks or something similar but don't quote me on that; I was in another dimension at that point. Since so much time had passed and my mom's was used to her phone being on in the morning, she walked to a friends place to use their phone. She called me going BANANAS! She'd tried several times, unsuccessfully, to get the mins herself, through Verizon using her phone. My brain was SO FRIED at this point, I never thought to purchase a card with email delivery from online.I could no longer think. For that particular month she ended up having to pay someone to drive her to a Verizon because sending her to buy a prepaid minute card from a Wal-Mart, etc...No...Just...N... SMH... So I said allllllllllll of that to say, I LOVE BEST BUY, their awesome SALES, and their EASY ONLINE ORDERING for any and everything-- especially this Verizon Prepaid Card with email delivery! The occasional discount is icing on the cake, and THANK GOD I can add her minutes at Verizon wireless website with just the code on the prepaid card and her cellohone #.

This is my choice every month. Super quick, super easy. Card arrives for me usually to email within 30 minutes and is much more convenient than leaving the house to get a card. Highly recommend.

I order these small refill cards to ADD DATA to my Verizon Hot Spot, getting the PIN number e-mailed is the way to go, I have come very close to losing the number on the little printed cards when I tried to remove the security stripe. This PIN comes in a SECURE e-mail, that can be viewed on your computer or phone. Best way to do it.

If you have a prepaid Verizon phone, this does what it needs to do. Best Buy is generally pretty quick with getting the card to you, and the process to refill on the app is pretty painless. Only four stars because how excited can you really get about paying your phone bill?

I'm really happy I purchased this digital prepaid card. Best Buy sent this Verizon card to me in an email and I redeemed it online through the Verizon website. Super easy last minute order that I had to complete before I set out to travel. Now I have phone service until August and didn't have to go in store or wait for a physical card to be shipped since I'll be moving this weekend. I love the idea of ordering a digital phone card. Plus I got a discount from Best Buy because it was my birthday. Perfect timing :)

An easy and convenient way of adding funds to your prepaid account. I purchased this card because my monthly payment was due in a couple of days. Confirmation email took only minutes and I was able to add this to my account without going to the store. On top of the selling price, it adds the 1.5 fee, for local authorities.

This is such an easy way to pay your monthly Verizon bill. I had always went to the store to purchase a refill card in the past until I learned about the Best Buy digital refill code. Went online and ordered 2 cards and within just a few minutes I received my code by email. I'll now buy all my refill cards this way. I highly recommend the digital purchase. Thank you Best Buy!

Purchasing the card this way is fine. It's quick and efficient. My only issue is that I only need a $35 card, but have to purchase a $40 card.

The ability to get a Verizon prepaid card digitally from BestBuy is really convenient. It doesn't take long to receive once order has been placed. Also, if you use your BestBuy credit card, you can get points towards rewards.

Great fast digital delivery. All you need is a valid email address and a depot card and your good to go. No need to go to the store to buy a refill card. Just type in the code from the email and your phone service is renewed. Very convenient and reliable.

It’s prepaid service, so why do I have to pay regulatory fees for refill cards? I started my plan with a $65 refill card that must have been on a promotional deal or something because I only paid $61.87 for a $65 card. But when I needed more data I came back to buy a $40 card and ended up paying almost $45 for it. I could understand if it was just a buck or 2 for card activation, but no. It’s all regulatory taxes. Who even said I was buying airtime with it. What if I wanted the cards to add to my prepaid plan so I could buy a new phone or something. And I’m still getting hit woth regulatory fees like it’s my monthly phone bill. What a waste of money.
