It tends to drop the signal every hour, restarting itself. It drops the signal when plugged in once it gives the fully charged message. It drops the signal whenever it sends a notification of anything. That is annoying when you’re in the middle of something or have an unsaved online document or form open. What is good about this is that battery life is decent, and it lets you choose between 2.4 Hz and 5 Hz so the lower speed can be compatible with your older devices, like printers or old tablets. Overall, I like it and like not being tied to a contract. I added this to my unlimited plan for only $20 more per month. Unlimited for this device actually means once it reaches a certain usage, the speed slows down and you can no longer watch videos via the MiFi. That’s Verizon’s problem though, not the device. Also, Best Buy set this up wrong at the store and I was charged incorrectly. Verizon corrected the error and credited me once I had gotten the first bill surprise.

Replaced an older hot spot, this jetpack is easy to set up & extremely fast. Have not encountered any problems.

This is great.Fast, reliable, great battery life and useful for using my tablet anywhere. And it wil be great for vacation trips too since we can use our tablets in the car as well.

I live in the boonies and internet has been a problem here. This at least lets me stay connected my last mifi must have been bad from the time I received it because it was constantly disconnecting with my downstairs computer. This one has not lost a connection since I have got it. My speed is also faster so this was a great purchase for me anyway.

I don't know much about the technology behind this hotspot, but it screams. Even with a weaker signal (two to three bars), it was pulling down 36 Mbps. I've never seen mobile data that fast on the phone. Of course, your experience will be limited by Verizon's towers and bands in your area. But if you're looking for fast internet to take anywhere and you know Verizon has quality service there, it's worth picking up. It's much quicker than the cheaper MiFi Jetpack hotspot I'd used before. Also, while Best Buy in-store reps had told me that this only works postpaid, that was false. I called Verizon, and they confirmed that if you buy at full retail, you can use it with a prepaid plan. I did, and it works great.

Had it for 1 month or so and find it very convenient to have high speed access anywhere on the road in addition to being secure. I was able to use my wireless plan leftover gb of data up to now, though you have to pay access fee each month.

We have been without internet at our summer home, for many years, but no more! the jetpack is a great purchase!~ I finally can use my Ipad, my computer, and my smart TV with ease! No more phone hot spot! This 7730 is well woth the cost already, and I've only had it for two weeks. My whole family is extremely happy with my purchase!

Works great for home Wi-Fi in rural area. I set it up with a 24 hour timer that comes on for a couple hours every three or four hours and it keeps it charged so I don’t have to worry about it. Now if I can just get verizon to provide the service like they used to in the area

While great for connecting a Wi-Fi only device to the internet (very easy to do). It did not give me the ability to fly. 0/10 as a jetpack 5/5 as an internet device

I was able to give this to one of my employees and he has been able to use it while on the road traveling. Thanks Verizon and Best Buy.

This hotspot is good for light gaming if you have a very good signal. The battery life can get you through emails and browsing and streaming 480p for at least 4 hours. Should last for your commute to and from work.
