I was switching to Verizon Pre-Pay from another provider and had accessories for my Moto e5 but I wanted a compatible phone for the accessories and found it in this phone. I ported my number and I am totally in awed with my purchase. If I ever replace this phone, it will be with one from Best Buy, because they have the best buys.

Still figuring all of the phones features but overall happy.

The add says unlocked. Activate with Carrier of choice. However, this phone can only be activated with Verizon Prepaid for a minimum of $30 charge. This is clearly Best Buy's fault. Poor editing by their marketing department.

For the price of this phone it is amazing (I got mine on sale so even better)! The Moto features makes the phone convenient and fun to use. Everything looks sharp and vibrant. The phone is speedy too so I can switch between apps without waiting years for them to reopen or respond. The battery really does last for a while. Regular use and I get a day and a half or so with it which I think is impressive. Overall, great phone if you need an upgrade that won't kill your wallet.

This was a huge upgrade for me coming from a LG G Vista. Phone has great reception, Good download and upload speeds on the Verizon LTE network, very good screen, and alot of options for the $107.99 asking price after tax. It has 16GB storage, double of what my LG G Vista had, 2GB ram, 13MP camera, and a 1080 Full HD video mode. It has had a finger print reader that works amazing for unlocking the phone. It even came with a nice little clear case. I bought this phone as a Verizon prepaid unit, with hopes of just inserting my old Net10 sim from the LG G Vista into this phone and having it work. Well I kinda did. This this is carrier locked to Verizon, and I had to call Verizon for a Sim unlock code, that they gave me for free, after asking $70 for. It works well enough with Net10 / Verizon towers, that the money I'm saving is pretty substantial. I pay $37.45 for 4GB high speed data with unlimited talk and text. I just wish it had a notification light. The build seems up to 2019 standard, as it feels good in your hands. I would recommend this phone to anyone looking for a budget Android 8.0 smart phone. One last thing is to make sure you have a screen protector, I'm going with tempered glass myself. Thank You.

The Moto G6 Play is a large phone but still feels comfortable in your hand. The display is beautifully sharp and the camera takes nice photos. Unlike a lot of other brands in the budget range (under $200) this phone has Nougat for an OS and is lacking nothing in the way of RAM and processor when compared with much more expensive phones. It has a few apps for Verizon but if you add an SD card for storing pics and such the average user will have plenty of room for adding apps.

Great sleek phone. Larger in size than my last one. Very fast. Great camera quality also. Battery lasts forever. I only ever charge my phone overnight when I go to bed and it lasts all day with a ton of charge left by the time I go to sleep.

This is by far the best phone that I have ever purchased. It is also the most expensive I have ever purchased. It was $113. And I don't usually spend over $80 on a phone. But this phone has a 13 megapixel camera on the rear and I have children and we take a lot of pictures so it's important. Also the speed of this phone is perfect where other phones have lagged. I replaced and LG k8v with this and am more than happy that I did. It's still very new to me so I don't know a lot about it still. But from having it a week and reloading all of my apps and information on my phone has been fairly easy. All I did was transfer my SIM card to this phone. And this phone did come with a SIM card and a clear jelly case.

Love the phone works great all around. Camera is okay but they keep increasing quality with the more expensive phones so if your looking for a camera I would go with those ones. Only issue is the storage space it seems it's always low so I have to clear the cache and wipe any data I can. Plus move photos over to a sd card because the apps nowadays are getting closer and closer to 1 gb each! The wife and I each have this phone and we both have some lag issues sometimes with Google and other apps. Not sure if it's the phone though, more like it's the software. If you have issues like that with yours then you know for sure. So just upgrade for simple storage fix or maybe a bigger screen. Also I got one phone through best buy for alot cheaper like $80 with a clear gray case while the other phone through Verizon for almost double the price with no case. Shop around for better pricing!

This was a big upgrade from my Moto e4, and at $100, still in the budget range. It's an awesome phone, great screen, cameras, and battery life, and tons of quality features. The only con is that it comes pre-loaded with lots of games and apps, that I don't really need and take up a major chunk of storage, but they're easily removed, so no worries. In my opinion, this is the absolute best Verizon phone you can buy in the range of this price point.

I was impressed with this phones quality at such low pricing. This phone has a little more Weight than your typical $150 Cellular device. Motorola outdid themselve with a phone that is both affordable yet formidable in todays cellular arena. It does feel a bit lacking in the ability to play games such as Fortnite and COD without struggling to keep up with the processor heavy graphics and refresh rate. The camera is comparable to any of last years flagship phones such as the iphone 8 or the samsung galaxy 9. I would recommend this phone because of all the decent capabilities this phone presents and the phenomenally quick charging capabilities

My LG display died at the 2 year mark (second one to do that, hmm). I wasn't about to spend $150 to fix it so I went shopping. This time, I refused to spend lots of money on a device of which I did not play games or watch movies. I love taking pics so I needed a decent camera. I ended up with the Moto G6 play and I am mostly satisfied. The photo apps are not built in like I'm used to but a little adjustment and it's proving to be a useful device. Its suiting my photo, texting, browsing, messaging needs just fine. Apps work seamlessly. It's a little slower loading things than the more expensive phones but I saved hundreds of dollars on this purchase and didn't require a new line or new contract. Drawback is paying the $30 prepaid minimum to switch to a post paid account.

These phones are indeed getting better and better. This guy has performance that really isn't too noticeably different than some phones costing twice as much. Pretty happy with everything, especially just the fact that this device feels at least a little heavy and wellbuilt in your hands instead of cheap plastic featherweight like most prepaids. Added bonus is this battery simply will not die, which I'm just fine with. Display is good. Not superb but plenty acceptable and at least gorilla glass. You'll be hard pressed to find better for the money.

Love this phone. It has much better reception that my previous smart phone did. It also takes great selfies and regular pics. It was easy to learn to use. It came with a lot of apps, but some got uninstalled. Now I’m looking for a compatible Bluetooth earbud to go with it.

After having to replace 3 Samsung Galaxy J3s for multiple issues, decided to try this G6 Play. Best decision I could have made. Great performance, great features, camera so much better than expected. Overall, very happy with my choice. The only negatives are NO apps can be stored on an SD card & moving data to it difficult if not impossible. The other downside, for me, is Spell Check is either non-existent or hidden beyond reach. Aside from those problems, this is an awesome phone. Display is amazing, response flawless. For the price, you can't go wrong.

I had to get a new phone because my old one refused to hold a charge. This phone was suggested to me by a worker at Best Buy and I couldn't be more grateful. This phone has so many unique qualities most Android's don't have. Including but not limited to: an incredible camera, including a flash option for front facing camera, a fingerprint access to your phone, that only iPhone had until now and so many more unique qualities I never had with a phone before. I love everything about this phone and I've never loved everything about previous phones... Including Apple devices. This tops them all, and did I mention that this is a prepaid phone?! The price is amazing for the quality of phone I would definitely recommend this phone to everyone!
