Okay, this phone is not for your everyday internet + app usage. It’s a good phone for calls + texting. I purchased it to use for work because with my job, our team communicates via group messaging & I was tired of pulling out my iPhone XS (didn’t want to damage it as I fulfill orders + deliveries). It lags when you connect to the internet —- as it should since it’s a basic smart phone. Don’t expect any thrills there. I am happy with my purchase — the phone is serving its purpose for me. This is literally a second line of communication for me. Oh, do understand that the touch screen can be slightly unresponsive sometimes or even super sensitive. If you do buy via Best But website - be sure they scan the barcode on the package . They didn’t do mine so I couldn’t activate it. Luckily I lived near a store and traded it in for a new one. Pros: Connects to internet Has Google Play Easy operating system to navigate Texting Call usage Cons: Slow response when clicking in and out of apps. Touch screen may be sensitive at times Slow moving • great for texting and phone calls. Overall: I’m cool with my purchase. Glad I got it!

I like the phone but you can't get past the activation screen you have to have service with Verizon which sucks but I managed to get past the activation screen in customer service without paying for a plan that's why I gave it three stars and plus the phone is locked to locked meaning that you can't use the phone on a different carrier like if you wanted to use a different SIM card from a different carrier it won't work unless you get service with Verizon or pay the $50 unlock fee also got this phone on a discount it was on sale so yeah seems like 30 bucks phone is regular $70 so yeah I don't really recommend this phone if you plan on using the phone on a different carrier but the plans but they offer pretty good on Verizon itss a 50/50 I do recommend this phone for people who are interested in prepaid service

Thanks for your review! Yes, this device is great for basic every day uses like you mention. For higher speeds and performance we do suggest jumping up to higher models.

I purchased two Nokia 2V cell phones to use with Verizon Prepaid. The first instrument set up very easy and works great it's a 4. The second instrument set up equally as well but it has issues. It kept reporting there is no SIM card. Getting the SIM card out of its holder is no easy task and unfortunately I damaged the holder. Scratch that phone due to my lack of knowledge and skills. The remaining Nokia 2V shows great Verizon coverage 4G with 4 bars. Awesome, this is why I bought the phone is to evaluate the Verizon's coverage in my area. It's a great phone for its price. It made me sorry I broke the other one. The Nokia 2V is good phone, nothing fancy, but a phone one can rely upon for communications. Don't expect to do much in the way of apps with this phone because off the shelf nearly 10 gigabytes of the 16 are used up. I put a 64 gigabyte SD card in our Nokia 2V so we'll see how that works out. But wait, there's more I have a report on the Nokia 3V I'll do separately. In good conscience I couldn't say to a family member, friend or complete stranger this would be a good buy. It's like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get.

It is not compatible with my favorite Bluetooth nor is it easy to use as a telephone, my ear seems to make the volume go down for some reason and people keep telling me to speak up, they can't hear me either. Plus, it has some crazy things that keep popping up like telling me to click on something because ? is overheating which I have yet to figure out. I still need to crack open the manual I suppose but so far, so good. Although, some good points are I am able to get good audio for my videos and decent pictures. There are some good things about it so I am hoping it's just more of a learning curve and we will soon be best of friends.

It is a good phone if you do not use a lot of apps. The picture quality is great and the device is easy to use. The one downside is the memory. It's only 8gb. So a micro SD is highly recommended.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts, Annie! We appreciate your feedback and recommendation to others :)

If it had more ram, this device would be a bang for the buck. But having more than one application open really slows this phone down.

I purchased this phone to give as a gift to a family member as I do every year. After doing research on it and seeing my family use it, it serves the purpose for only basic tasks. This phone is good for the light user of a young child or that of an adult, but not for people of my generation. If you are in high school or older, I'd stick with mid to higher end phones for your daily needs.

The battery on this phone is awesome. But everything else is horrible. It doesn’t have much memory and is slow . Always have to delete apps to fit anymore . Camera isn’t that good . The phone is really slick on the back and you will drop it very easily

Thank you for your feedback, China.

My husband initially purchased this phone for himself but the phone kept freezing. When his phone would ring the screen would freeze for a few seconds because he was able to answer the call. But this phone is purfect for children who will only use the phone to watch YouTube videos and play games.

I love this phone. I had bought the Motorola e5 prior to this phone it's supposed to have more storage than the Nokia. But the Nokia is much user friendlier and way quicker. I can specify what apps I want to save into the phone or external storage card (by becoming a builder) but this phone responds way better. And it was way cheaper than the Motorola. Nokia hasn't ceased to impress me. And for the price it's totally worth it!

Thanks for the review, Ares! We're thrilled that you're enjoying your Nokia 2 V! Have a great day!

It’s to replace my ATT cell phone which suddenly has developed problems with reception, I went with a pre-paid phone to cut costs during trial, and so far, to my surprise, Verizon is actually getting good reception. Had Verizon before, which was why I was on ATT...the phone/OS does take some getting used to, and to be honest, the 8gb memory is way too little, but for a trial, it’s fine, if the service works out I can upgrade the phone and phase out the old one....

That's great! We appreciate the 5 stars as well as your thoughtful feedback. Thanks!

internal storage is small. Camera is better than the Samsung J1. the only problem i have is on calls, the receiver hears periodic beeps. I can duplicate this with recording a voice mail for myself and playing it back. If you use it for txt or just a little browsing online, it works fine. If you use it for calls, the receiver can be annoyed. I've contacted Nokia Support but they would want me to send in the phone for repair which means no phone for 7+ days which is impossible since smart phone are a part of our daily lives.

I bought it for my son since his phone had a major cracked screen. A little laggy but not to bad, it should work for a little while.

At $69.00, a good value. It has limitations. Does the basics, phone, photos, web streaming, voice to text (not consistently though), voice to text sometimes doesn't work, if not on wi-fi. Can use the $10.00 wired headset with it, so that is good. Moto, had a lot of problems, and I had to replace it with this one, because, yes, I threw it across the room when it consistently went into a mode that caused incoming calls to be in-audible for some reason. The Nokia works well for the money, I would recommend it over Moto for the same price any day!

We got this phone as a temp while my wife was waiting on a warranty replacement from Google, it kept us in touch so we were thankful it was an option, but it wouldn't recieve texts and it has virtually no space. After installing fb messenger it told her delete something to install another small app. And of course you can't delete any preinstalled apps so it's effectively a 1 or 2 app phone. We're taking it back now that she got her phone In.
