A: This is a prepaid phone you would probably would have to activate on their prepaid side i would check with Verizon before doing so
Q: Is there a time limit on how long the phone works or is it just based on minutes used?
A: My son has this phone. He is on the unlimited talk and text package with 16 gb of data. It is a monthly prepaid plan. So every month you would have to add money for your phone to keep working. I am sure some things would still work connected to wi-fi without a plan.
