I was really disappointed with this VEVOR batting cage. The biggest problem is the design. The entire structure seems to rely almost completely on tension to hold its shape rather than having a solid, rigid frame with secure connections. In practice, that makes setup extremely frustrating and makes the cage feel much less stable and usable than I expected. The instructions only make matters worse. They are vague, poorly explained, and provide very little useful guidance on how the poles, net, and tension system are actually supposed to come together. For something with such an unusual design, much clearer instructions and diagrams are absolutely necessary. It’s also impossible to determine which side is which for the netting. Once you understand how it is supposed to work, you can eventually get it assembled, but it feels like far more effort than a batting cage should require. Adjusting one area can affect the tension somewhere else, and getting everything positioned correctly becomes a frustrating process of trial and error. I really wanted to like this cage because the size and concept seemed promising, but the tension-based design and terrible instructions make it unnecessarily difficult to set up and use. A more traditional frame with secure pole connections would have made this a dramatically better product. Overall, a very disappointing experience and DO NOT RECOMMEND. Save your money and purchase a sturdier, more durable, better designed cage that you can actually use and you won’t regret it.
