Great idea-poor construction-good customer service

Purchased this product for my son, for use on his hoverboard. Installation was fairly easy, and it worked well for a few days / weeks. However, after a few weeks, the connection between the crossbar for the feet and the end of the long middle bar (with the front wheel under it) came apart. Looking at the two pieces, the welding between the two seems to be shoddy work (keep in mind that I am NOT a weldind expert), which likely caused the separation. We tried different ways to fix it, but none of them worked. Eventually, we returned the product to BestBuy. On the plus side (and the reason for the second star), the vendor promptly refunded the cost of the product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
