NOT a mat feeling just hard plastic

I thought it would be more of a rubber mat feel to it but it is NOT. They are just a hard plastic and seem pretty fragile for what I wanted to use them for, in a work out room. I was going to return it but did not get it back to the store in time so I will have to find some other use for them I guess.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
