VEVOR - Media Storage Cabinet, 4-Tier DVD Shelf Organizer, 24.02 x 14.49 x 33.31 in Multimedia Storage Organizer for CDs, DVDs - Dark brown

As my media collection has gotten bigger, I realized I need more storage so I looked around and saw the Vevor media storage cabinet at Best Buy for just over $100 and it's sized for my needs. And a plus is movies or TV shows I have in DVD, Blu-ray, or collector set editions, like steelbooks, don't risk exposure to direct sunlight. It's important to know this is a DIY or do-it-yourself cabinet and comes with a screwdriver to change from phillips head to flat head tip when needed. I strongly recommend using a corded or cordless powered driver because you will have to drive a lot of screws to connect all the panels and sections together. Most holes where you'll use screws or pins to hold the pieces together are pre-drilled but there are a few areas, like the four hinges (see photo), a cordless driver with a phillips #1 size bit makes it much easier to drive the screws into the panels to hold the hinges onto those panels too. I'd also suggest having a 3/32 drill bit handy but travel no more than 3/8 of an inch deep into the panel at certain locations. Tip: put masking tape on the 3/32 drill bit the where 3/8ths of an inch is to avoid drilling completely through the panel. It was a hot summer when I put this together so I took my time and it took me two days but I'm very satisfied. Like many other cabinet furniture I've bought, the panels are of particle board that's been wood laminated and the quality of the lamination is very good. The instruction book and peel off labeling sticker on each of the panels makes it pretty easy to to put together but instruction lettering might be hard to read for some. Just take your time putting it together The cabinet is lockable (shown in another photo), one side uses side uses a rotating bolt that travels into a slot and uses a key (comes with two keys in case) to rotate the bolt to unlock the cabinet. The other side uses a spring locking pin you push up that goes into a pre-drilled hole. Once you unlocked the key side and opened it, then you can reach around to press a side mounted button to unlock the pin locked side. If you have young kids or an infant, parts with instructions are included to mount the cabinet to wall studs to reduce risk of tipping over the cabinet.
