Loud beep

The fan itself is fine and works as intended. While the motor kicks on and off quietly during the night, there's a loud beep that accompanies the temperature trigger. There's nothing in the manual to suggest the sound can be turned off. So while the room will be cooler, you'll be listening to beeps all night.
