Plastic feels a little cheap. Comes with a metal installation bracket which is a plus. Works as described. Long term reliability is question that will be answered with time. Overall a great price if it lasts

You need this! I was surprised at how much I needed this hose reel! It really works effortlessly and smoothly. Quality product that is well made and great to have. The retractable feature is a plus! Just be sure to keep your hands on the hose as it is reeled in. I would recommend wearing gloves when reeling it in because it has some power to it and the hose does get a bit hot and once it starts reeling in the hose it will jerk you forward if you aren't expecting the full power of this reel. I love it so much that I bought another one for the front yard.

Really like the hose retractable hose reel. Haven’t had it very long to tell how it holds up to normal use.
