Q: I bought this for my daughter and let her set it up but she complains no sound is heard on the internal speakers. How do you get the sound to come out to the internal speakers?

A: My daughter & I just set hers up last night. I'm sure you've checked this, but just in case, make sure the knob on the top right is set to "phono" & not "BT" (Bluetooth). I also noticed that the power plug is hard to put in the back...make sure it’s pushed in all the way.

    Victrola Eastwood Signature Record Player - 4 Star

    Vinyl albums have always intrigued me due to their beautiful artwork and unique scratchy sound profile. I had a few old Beatles albums in high school (late 90s) that I listened to on a beat up record player. Fast forward many years and I decided to give vinyl another chance. I researched several players but was limited to shelf size. The Victrola Eastwood Signature moved to the top of the list because it fit dimensionally where I wanted to place it and offered Bluetooth connectivity to external speakers. I found an Open Box model at my local Best Buy and purchased it. The only things I found wrong with it are a slightly scratched dust cover and broken clip that holds it. I tested it out with a brand new copy of Starset's Horizons album. Setup was extremely easy - plug in the power adapter, turn it on, move the tone arm into place, and lower the cue lever. The internal speakers sounded good, but I was anxious to test the Bluetooth capabilities with my Nakamichi soundbar. Sadly, I was unable to make the connection even after turning both units off per the instruction manual. The Bluetooth connection from my phone to the player worked but that's not why I purchased it. Finally, I connected the Line Out with RCA cables to my soundbar and was thrilled with the results. There are many things I like about this player - the aforementioned size, Bluetooth, color scheme, ease of use, and sound quality. My only deduction is for the cosmetic damage and faulty Bluetooth.

    Great price-to-quality ratio

    Sound quality was the best you could get for a system with built in speakers. This was a replacement from one bought online for only $50 more. Can’t recommend this product enough. You will have less sound quality than if you were to buy better speakers, but for the price vs what you get, I think this may be the best model. Have had for 6 months almost with no issues.
