We ordered the Ring doorbell in September and scheduled delivery and installation at a time that worked for us. Garrett from the Geek Squad was in touch the night before installation as well as that morning. He arrived as promised and efficiently installed Ring. He was patient as we explained where to put it and what we wanted to be able to see. He showed us how to use the app to adjust some things as well. Garrett was friendly, helpful, patient, efficient and professional. We mentioned that we have other tech needs and would like a second appointment and he spent time understanding our concerns. When he was done with his day and in front of a computer, he called us to schedule the next appointment. Top notch person, service and communication from the Geek Squad.

Ricardo did a good job. He was professional and timely. The only issue I have is he took ALL the original ARLO packaging for my two cameras, two solar panels and doorbell. I should have never allowed him to take the packaging because I now don't have any of the user guides and he took the release pin for my doorbell camera. He kept insisting and said he'll recycle it. I don't understand why the technicians have to take the packaging? I like having all my info so I can read up and get to know my product. I also like having the packaging should I not like the product so I can return it. Now if I don't like the equipment, how am I supposed to return it? I needed the user guides yesterday because the batteries are low. My AT&T WiFi is out which makes the cameras useless. In my attempt to reconnect to WiFi, when I pressed the sync button, the blue light was not coming on which told me the batteries are dead. He showed me how to take the battery pack out to charge it. I asked him does the charging cable connect to the battery pack and he said yes. Well, after taking both cameras down, I opened the one as he showed me and discovered that's NOT how you charge it. The cable connects to the casing the same way the solar panels connect. So he gave me wrong instructions. If I had my user guide, I would have known this. Also, I have no idea if the two cameras came with two charging cables and adapters since he took the packaging. Being two cameras were in one box, you would think there would be two cables and adapters. I don't know how long it takes to fully charge one camera (having the user guide would help) AND charging one camera at a time SUCKS. I don't have the release pin to take the doorbell camera off and had to find something small enough to fit. He shouldn't have kept the release pin. I would like the packaging back to include everything that was in them but I guess that's a lost cause now.

Mike and Shawn from the Saratoga, NY location re-mounted my 75 inch television. The job was challenging due to placement of the electrical box by the builder. They solved the problem by having me order the perfect TV bracket that solved the problem, and they were able to move the TV exactly where I wanted it to be. Excellent customer service, problem solvers, professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I would highly recommend these two men at the Geek Squad for your installation needs!

We buy everything from best buy !! They make it way too easy not to ...... they will price match any local price so they are literally the least expensive, and if you are a total tech member you get a 2 year warranty as well as free installation and set up (if needed) ! Its a no brainer for me !!!

Doorbell installed and setup. Showed me how to use app and change the battery. Three weeks later everything still working fine.

Product had to be reinstalled because the panel was installed where there is no sunshine. The the second agent did not replace the dead battery to the camera it was connected to, so I had to hire someone else to do that.

The installer installed my ring doorbell and hooked it up to my regular doorbell. Well all you could see was the front of my garage because of where the doorbell was situated. When I asked him what I could do he said I should put one of those round mirrors on the side of my house so it would reflect to my driveway. There was no mention of installing one of those attachments that came with the doorbell To make it Show in that direction. Nor was it mentioned that it could run on battery and be installed on the other side of the door! He just installed it and left Anyway I had to hire someone else to install it. Definitely was not happy with this. A waste of my money!!!!

The front door bell camera works as advertised, recognizing people approaching the door or leaving the house. It also detects packages being delivered. However, the indoor chimes in my home no longer work. The installer was not able to fix this. A second Geek Squad visit did not resolve this so it was recommended to have an electrician evaluate it. I have scheduled a visit by an electrician.
