This Monitor had good color and contrast right out of the box. The only small complaint I have is that the onscreen controls could be easier to navigate, but I haven't had to make any adjustments. Just a note that the Blue Light Blocking Filter has to be activated. I found too much turned the screen too yellow so I have it set at 20%. If it lasts I'm a happy buyer.
