Basic But Expensive

Installed by Betsy Buy and the installers didn’t check the functions. First time using the fan, it only had one setting. Couldn’t get the other setting to work. It’s only 850 watts. I’m assuming Viking didn’t make this product, but put there brand on it. Some of the parts appear cheap. Haven’t used the convection part yet. Will have to wait for Best Buy to replace. There are less expensive options available unless you’re looking to match all appliances.

Great and powerful good hood with a few improvements. User interface is not good because there is no indication for low/high fan. The grease filter is flimsy. The fan is loud.

works great BUT! I'm on my THIRD one in two months! HI/LO fan not working on both, waiting on the third! Purchase because we are retired and wanted a Viking Range, Dish washer and convection/microwave.we have had issues with range parts. Would I Purchase them again? I would consider Wolf.

Microwave, convection, broil, you name it. That flexibility does come at the expense of some ease of use but features like the “Add a minute” button help keep simple things simple.

How long do you expect a $1,700 microwave to last

Worked great for 6 years. Fan generates more noise than suction, which is a bummer. Does have a nifty thermostat function that turns fan on automatically when you have stove or oven going and things start to get hot! It crapped-out yesterday, and after replacing a broken switch and a blown fuse, repair-man is now finding that fuse blows every time he tries to run it. Waiting to see where this adventure ends, but I'm current at $250....
