After only a few months of owning this dishwasher, the overflow sensor went bad. Now, we're coming up on a month of having an unusable dishwasher while we're waiting for the replacement part. The dishwasher cleans pretty well when it's actually working, but the control interface is unintuitive and finicky. Also the custom panel model has no indicator light, so it's pretty difficult to know if it's actually running.
This review is from Viking - 24" Top Control Built-In Dishwasher with Stainless Steel Tub - Custom Panel Ready

I have Viking appliances for more than 20 years, but my old dishwasher had a few problems that replacing it was the best option, so I did it. I really like the Viking product, but I found the manual to be too complicated or not clear enough for a regular customer. It looks like good engineers Mae them, but they never used it or asked a layman user to use the manual to figure out what to do !!

Poor on price point. Does not-I repeat, DOES NOT have a heat dry cycle. Regardless of what you do, what cycle you use, there is no drying of dishes. You must open and air dry to get a completely dry load. My kick plat continues to fall off even after it has been fixed twice. Not a fan at this price point.

This dishwasher is VERY quiet which I appreciate very much. My previous Viking dishwasher was a little noisy. It seems like it has more space to load the items, I like the way it is laid out, easy to load. Thank you.

Replaced an old Viking dishwasher with this updated version. All seems good with it. One benefit noticed immediately is it is a bit quieter. It came slightly damaged (something dropped on it, damage not visible once installed) so the self install was a bit trickier than it needed to be. We got through it and all seems ok.

Disappointing product. The door to the detergent does not close well and the parts are cheap compared to the unit that was purchased 10 years ago. I am returning this item . the installer, XPO, put a hole in my cabinet, additionally, XPO is denying the claim. The entire dishwasher is leaning forward because of a poor installation job. I was a long time loyal customer of Best Buy. looks like I am going to spend 2500 bucks somewhere else.

It’s great! to have new Viking. But, it’s not completely dry out when it’s done.

Looks sleek and elegant but gets the job done! The install team from Best Buy also did an excellent job.

I'm very pleased with my Viking dishwasher. It's very similar to my previous dishwasher, but Viking has made some great improvements. In addition, it's very easy to use and my dishes look great.

Prior models of Viking have been complicated to operate with the various modes . They have revised the touch screen to indicate the function you wish to do . Normal wash , glassware , pot scrub instead of functions 1-5 which did the same process but

The installation on this dishwasher was terrible. The lower end brands are much simpler. I do not recommend this dishwasher for the average DIY’re

Installers are very terrible. I’ve been trying to get in contact with them and they would not return my phone. Call my Viking dishwasher is not working. I have to hold the door for it to work.
