Returned the new Viking cabinet depth refrigerator because it makes an unusual loud humming noise (like a dying car battery). It's a beautiful refrigerator but for being a Viking model it is made substandard. If it wasn't for that annoying noise that the motor made we would still have it in our kitchen. Viking needs to change the compressor motor to be successful.

This fridge is total cheap garbage. Probably the worst fridge I’ve ever purchased. Materials are light and flimsy. Light is low and dark. It’s small and inefficient. It’s loud and super annoying. Do not buy.

Bought this refrigerator so far so good looks beautiful in my kitchen it matches my stove, all stainless steel except for the sides. Seems to work pretty good. I don’t know how to turn on the sound and I don’t know how to turn on the icemaker other from that keeps my food cold and my refrigerator is everything is frozen in it, I read some of the reviews about 50% of people are unhappy with them and 50% of the people are happy with them so I will say I am the 50% that is happy so far didn’t buy this off of another person I bought it off of an appliance place And this is the bad thing is that they said that it was out of date because it was an older model even though it was in a box when I bought it, but they gave me a warranty of 13 months so I’m happy with that to find out that this other person was a third-party Was never mentioned on the receipt or in person. He said it was brand new which he didn’t lie. It was brand new but according to Viking, it was like a two year old model very important when you buy appliances to call the warranty company first and find out if it’s you in warranty as of the date that you buy it. So if you buy something like what I did going to call the warranty company first or you can buy an outside warranty on it all in all I’m satisfied with it at this point.

This is not the Viking I used to know. This is a loud and poor quality fridge. The door didn’t close right. No matter how many times we tried to level it the door were uneven. The stainless trim on the inside is just silver paint not real stainless. I’d rather buy a cheaper LG or Bosh than pay double for this. Ended up going with a subzero and never looking back.

Terrible Refrigerator , it is very noisy & ice falls out all the time when you open the door to the freezer , no water spout inside the refrigerator , real bummer Aldo it has broken down

It’s a smart design, the ice maker is in the freezer so it is not dealing with the warmer fridge (it also produces high quality ice quickly). If you research durability on fridges, having the ice maker outside the freezer is a leading cause of early fridge failure. I also like the stealth water dispenser. I recommend this fridge and would buy it again.

PASS ON THIS ~!!! In less than 6 months the front panel started to show little dots of rust! The freezer handle pulled right off on one side bending the front panel on the left~ Piece of junk~! Best Buy will not help- and now I have to WAIT FOR VIKING to see if this is a warranty issue! OMG! FYI~ I am a 2 person household that is very gentle on furniture, appliances, etc. I have GE and KENMORE appliances that are 17 years old without a single scratch on them. I AM TOTALLY DISGUSTED with this brand and the lack of customer service I am getting.

I love the refrigerator!!!! This one is working perfectly and is quite lovely. I didn't realize how badly the first one was performing. The design is excellent and I like the features.

Be aware that the fridge does not come as pictured. You will have to buy the bottom piece that is pictured, and there is another top piece you will need to purchase to make it look like a really cheap fridge. This was a replacement of an older viking that died after 14 years, much lighter and appears to be lower quality

Great purchase lots of room. Love the water dispenser on the inside of the fridge. Looks great in my kitchen.

So far so good. Not as sturdy as my old GE monogram. Hoping it lasts and lasts.

The fridge is fine the service and installation were terrible...the original sales person or another designated to higher level products were not accomodating and could not be contacted. I DO NOT WANT to switch to on-line process when I had a personal contact at the store!!!

Hasn’t made any ice for 3 weeks since I bought this. This is replacement for a malfunctioning chip first one.

Within first opening of the freezer door it became so out of alignment that there was a 1" gap and door would not close properly again. Now both freezer and refrigerator not working. Best part, Best Buy says it's not their problem and points me to Viking to resolve. Last time I buy an appliance from Best Buy with that terrible customer service.

Amazing fridge! I use almost one year and I really really like it!

Seamless purchase, delivery, and install! The delivery personnel were professional and knowledgeable about the product (refrigerator). Although, a rainy and ugly day the driver took precaution of wetting the floors during entry and exit. The fridge had no damage and got into my space like a glove. I’m not sure why others may have posted differently, but my experience was creme de la creme.

Very disappointed with the Viking brand. The refrigerator would not cool down below 37° even though there’s an option to go down as low as 32°. I don’t understand the point of having an option that is unattainable.

I love it, particularly the ice maker. Coming from a Samsung, this works better. The only noticable con is it sometimes leaks water into the floor but this was noted in the users manual.
