Get What you PAY for with Viking
Viking is top of the line and has excellent warranty coverage. It costs more than your Kenmore or GE but you get what you pay for in this appliance category

Almost gas
Smooth and even heating levels that allow for more precise heat and cooking. Exceptional surface and ability to heat entire pan surface. As close to gas as you can get with electric.
