Best buy did a great install. Only thing that bothers me about the product is it has restrictions. Can't program start up times. Only reminders. Which sucks. The viper is over rated and to expensive for what it does. No temperature inside the car. No program start ups. It's just a GPS nothing else. Plus there is a subscription. For what. It's using your data not vipers

This is a add-on part to the remote which allows you to start vehicle with your phone. It is a must have.

I'm seeing about a 70% success rate in remote starts with both my cell phone and key fob. The app always says that the vehicle started even when it doesn't. I hate going out in 100 degree plus Texas weather after it says my car is running to sit down in an oven. It would also be pretty cool if I could choose the timeout. I'm assuming it's about 15 minutes, but there is no way for me to change it. On my next car, I'm going to look at other options.

Sometimes it activates the factory car alarm when used. Read reviews online. This happens to a lot of people. I have a 2012 Honda Pilot and sometimes when I remote start the vehicle, the car alarm goes off. Viper blames it on the installer and the installer blames it on Viper. Whoever's fault it is, nobody can seem to fix it and I no longer have a remote start that I can use without disturbing my neighbors.

The "New" Viper product that separates GSP with none GPS is worse than the previous one. I had my car broken into and it didnt even send me an alert.
