I've had it about a month now. Make smoothies and shakes with it. It's not as instant as some YouTube videos make it seem, but give it 30+ seconds and ice is pulverized. Clean up is easy, even without the ability to take the blades out of the canister (which I was skeptical about). I hope this last 5+ years because I've been going through a ~$50 blender a year and decided to get this so I don't have to replace any and get the performance I wanted. Fits underneath the cabinets. The 48 oz is for sure big enough for one person. If 2+ in the household, look into getting the E320 with the larger capacity.

Over the years I have owned various blenders but there is a reason Vitamix is acknowledged as the leader (as it's price point so clearly indicates!) This is my fourth Vitamix but prior to this I bought a less expensive blender and it wasn't as durable or powerful as this blender. I'm very happy now that I switched back to Vitamix!

This blender has tons of power and it's easy to clean. I love that it's a simple dial and switches. So many things are using needles screens and other tech that won't hold up over time

Great product, really smooth blender and it is not loud at all! This product is almost perfect, the only issue I've found is that it doesn't have an option for a smaller base (for shakes or smoothies). Other than that, this product is perfect for anyone who wants a quality product that will last for years.

Love this starter blender!! The only con is that it has to be stirred if making anything thick. Blends apple skin, almonds, everything with extreme ease! I make smoothies every day and occasionally milkshakes. It’s super easy to clean!

The best and worth the money. Love the self cleaning and the motor is so powerful. I use it everyday for green smoothies and healthy frozen fruit/veggie treats. Going to buy another for my daughter’s birthday. Makes a healthy lifestyle easier.

I’ve had this blender for well over a year now and it’s been 100% worth it. I’ve made everything from smoothies to soups in it. My girlfriend and I use it daily and we even make smooth, homemade cashew milk it in every week, no need to strain. Can never go back to a regular blender!

I love my new vitamix! I have made delicious, silky smoothies and hot tasty soups from scratch. I have never been more pleased with a kitchen appliance. The vitamix blends so smoothly and so quickly. My soups take less than 10 minutes to make. It's awesome.

This vita mixer worked great! I was able blend raw walnuts to a pulp in a smoothie without even soaking them first! As well as cashews!

I can't give 5 stars because I've only been using it for a couple of weeks but so far it has been the best blend I have owned. I also got a great deal on it. Get one if you are looking to get a new blender you won't be disappointed.

Bought this a year ago and it’s still going. The stick piece broke inside the blender tho.

My family loves smoothies and shakes so this Vitamix blender is part of our lives. It get's used daily at least once a day. I have tried a wide variety of different uses with this blender. One of the things I have done is grinding roasted cocoa bean and mixing this with either whole milk or almond milk. This cocoa bean shake takes great. Whit some ice you can make shaved ice/snow cone with this powerful blender. I have blended many fruits and vegetables without any problem. It very interesting that this machine is so powerful that you can use it to make soup and I mean heat it up inside the container with the blender. The blade running for a period of 5 minutes and more will make what ever is in the blender heat up. I love doing all flavored lattes. This blender is very powerful, easy to use, and a great job very quickly. Very easy to use and clean. When placing the lid give attention to ensuring the lid is in place correctly if not you will have a mess. In my opinion, when machines offer many years of warranty you can be confident that it is built strong. This Vitamix machine comes with 5 years warranty. I have included a picture of the base of the container that shows the assembly of the blade. It is made tough and to last long. Looks like it a lifetime for it to wear out. Just know that it will last many years. This is a quality machine and I would buy another if needed or give as a gift. I would definitely recommend this blender to my friends and family. In all, a wonderful product, a great appliance to add to any kitchen and well worth the price.

The Vitamix E310 blender is a straight forward machine. Surprisingly quiet motor housing is a pleasure to use. The controls are simple: ON/OFF, PULSE, speed control dial from 1-10 . The large capacity, 48-ounce plastic blender jar is light, sturdy and engineered to mix the content from the bottom to the top and through the center back to the blades. I wish I could show a video of how well the vortex works when pulverizing flax seeds into a more digestible powder for making breads. (I imagine making peanut butter by leaving it blend a little longer!) Next I will tackle making soup just with the blender! It also mixes batter for pancakes, instant puddings, margaritas and smoothies quite well. The speed control really shines here. From a steady mix to a powerful crush. The pulse button is great, a paddle style switch. The lid is soft vinyl with a removable see-through cup that doubles as a measuring cup. It is easy to add items while blending. Also the opening for the included push paddle to aid mixing bulky items. The unit is solid with a heavy-duty grounded three prong cord. Cleaning is accomplished by first rinsing under the faucet, then adding a drop of soap with some water and running the blender with the lid on. Rinse clean. The blade doesn't come out which may save a few fingers from being cut.
